You called it a TECH DEMO. It wasn't a tech demo, it was a game that was being developped, a game that was a new IP. 
If Dreams/GOW 2017, New spiderman, Kojima game got cancelled, you wouldn't call it a tech demo. You will call it a cancelled game.
