The button placement looks really awkward. I don't think the placement will stand up to serious gameplay.

WTF people complaining about the joystick placements?

Have any of you played an xbox lol? or for that matter a gamecube with its C stick lol

Looks good to me. I like xbox placement due to you using 2nd stick a lot less than face buttons. This should be rather comfortable. Plus, there is always the pro controller. I wonder if the WiiU procontroller will work. Same buttons just different layout on sticks.

I don't mind the asymmetric placement - but it works best when the bottom stick is also just a little to the left of the buttons too. Fewer cramps in the thumb going between the buttons and the joystick. Default Switch controller has the buttons and joystick directly above/below each other - rather than having a slight offset.

Doesn't change the fact that it still looks very uncomfortable imo.

From that photo, it looks like the tablet itself will be perfectly portable and capable of putting in someone's pocket, especially if it's slimmer than the New 3DS XL, while the Joy-Cons can be in another pocket, and when you feel like playing you can take them out, hook them up, and you're good to go.
But between the tablet, my phone, my wallet, and my keys, and having 4 pants pockets, I'll have to either cram a lot of stuff into one or two pockets or wear a sweater, jacket, or shirt with pockets.

Won't fit in a pocket. The Vita barely fits in a pocket and not while you're sitting so be prepared to carry a backpack.

How fast technology is coming along when you see it compared to the Wii-U's gamepad but then you think that the Switch houses all of the power and doesn't have a console somewhere in the room streaming that video to it... So amazing. Can't wait for next March I hope Nintendo have a real winner here and handle it nicely so it catches on, I would love a handheld with that amount of power to be popular enough to see AAA games like the Vita should have had for more years than it did.

Also yeah... I love the Xbox and 360 pads so I really can't wait to get my hands on that controller layout.
