Forums - Politics Discussion - Religious people understand the world less, study suggests

Following most religions means believing in things without evidence. That is inevitably going to lead to a poorer understanding of the world.

Exactly. We don't need studies telling us that.

I didn't even read the OP. Most religions require turning off huge parts of your critical thinking centers to believe in them.

Jesus is the truth, the way, and the light.

No shit, sherlock!

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

If there is a hell then I would expect to be forced to play Kid Icarus (NES) non stop while dying over and over again.

Which wavelength of the light? Only the small spectrum of light we humans perceive or the bigger spectrum of light which some animals can perceive? Isn't he discriminating other wavelength of the electromagnetic wave? Is jesus an electromagnetic wave? Oh my God.. this makes a lot of sense now.

Is Jesus also radioactive? I mean, does he emit gamma radiation or is he gamma radiation himself? Then we definitely should stay away from him. Could cause cancer.  If you say he is one form of electromagnetic waves, then he is probably also the other ones... like microwaves... haha.. he is a microwave.
