So about a month ago I completed my new PC and I'm still waiting to test it with an AAA game (as of now I just played a few titles I previously owned on Steam to make shure everything worked fine) and now The Witcher 3 is 33% on sale on steam, dropping the price to only 20,09€ .

I'm shure I'm going to enjoy the game but, since I don't follow much Steam I'm not shure if this sale is good enough or if there will be any major sale soon that could get me to save a few other euros. So what do you suggest me VGChartz people ? should I buy it now ?

get the game no matter on which costs if you like western rpgs.
The game is giant and easily worth 100 bucks so you definitly wont get ripped off. I dont know if there is any other game which as much good content to be honest. Also make sure to get the 2 dlc addons ;)

That's a good sale, not great but good enough.

The thing, tho, is that if you want to get the whole experience, you're better off buying the GOTY edition, and that version "only" has a 20% off sale that puts it at 39.99€. I've seen that edition in a physical edition for 41€ at MediaMarkt.es (MediaWorld in Italy), making the sale not that enticing.

So, it's up to you to decide if you want to get it right now or want to make a gamble and hope for a bigger discount in the next two months.

By the way, the following Steam Sales will be by Halloween and of course the big Winter Sales, but it's impossible to know how big will be the discount (I doubt it will change so soon).

As far as sale discounts go, I have seen bigger on both steam and gog. If you want a bigger discount, I'd wait for their upcoming winter sale. If you just wanted a discount and it is now in your price range then hell yes.

It's a big game with a solid story, and a great concept that's punctuated by the worst gameplay and UI you could ask for.

It's good deal if you can stomach the garbage combat and consumable items every 5 steps.

dude, i finished the game for the second time yesterday. my second play through was 75 hours. the game has so much fucking content its worth 20 bucks.

however, my advice is get it with the expansion. that way you will save more money in the long run

Buy it now! Easily one of the best game I ever played and easily game of the generation so far for me.

I'm personally waiting for the complete GOTY edition to go on sale for $30 on psn. Hopefully next year.
