It needs to be cheap.
You do that by cutting away bullcrap.
That means No touchscreen, no camra, no micrphone.

Its a trade off....  by not includeing it they save $ on manufactureing, and it uses a tiny bit less power.

If it did have it, they would have showed it in the trailer I think.

It would be crazy not to include a touchscreen if it is already a tablet sized screen.

Even if it ain't used for games, it could be used for other tasks, f.e. internet browser.

of course its Nintendo so if they decide its no tablet there won't be any touch. but I can't believe that they would exclude it to cut costs down when it enabled much more games to run on Switch...

You have a point, but touchscreens are standard these days.

Maybe they will release a new Verion of the LCD screen which will have a bigger screen and a touch screen. And maybe even more powerful.
