Well, Nintendo already copied a chinese tablet for the Switch, so why not?

always the Nintendo "didn't invent anything" comment has to pop up lol

Oh, poor Nintendo, I'm so mean! ^^ You make a thread saying "Will others copy Nintendo if it's successful", and don't accept when we clarify that it's absolutely not something Nintendo invented?

Here, have fun if you want :

The market is full of other tablets able to be connected to a TV and controllers, don't start saying "Nintendo invented something". They didn't (at least not in what we've seen until now). What's the next thing, Microsoft copied the Switch when they made the Surface? We could even say that Nintendo copied the Vita/PSTV functions, so both other constructors already kinda did what you're asking us about...

MS technically has something like that. It's called a Surface

Its just costs more but also does more...

Yes, but they need games from third parties in universal windows store for this and ofc more power. I doubt that the current surface model will be able to run xbox games

Neh, the beauty of PC gaming is that people have a wide range of games to choose from. Surface isn't limited to the windows store as far as games are concered and there are tons of games that aren't very demanding or will run at lower settings. Not saying that it is as fast as say x1 or anything but you would be surprised as to how many games can run at 720p resolution at low settings even with integrated video cards.

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

I don´t think so, Sony will probably focus on get the VR initiative rolling and MS will try to secure a safe spot in terms of profit.
Analysts say that the subscription from Xbox Live is a decent steady cash flow for MS and they probably are more interested in keep such a healthy profit cow alive than worried about the video game market podium.
Also, no one is interested in seeying Nintendo going backrupt, sometimes is nice to let them have a trophy once and a while.
No need for war really, in a market with three competitors and really hungry consumers, they can coexist as long as all of them have a steady profit.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Like the Switch? No, I don't think so. I don't see either one of them replacing home consoles with some kind of hybrid that goes backwards in power. Not unless you're saying that the home console market dies instantly and everyone jumps to the Switch.

Probably not, but I think you'll start seeing a lot more tablets with game controller "wings" right out of the box.

I think Sony/MS are quite happy to have Nintendo just off in its own corner doing its own thing, last thing they want is a direct competitor for the PS/XBox.

Dude just chill out nobody is saying that nintendo is the creator, people on this site are impulsive asf

I don't think we will see anything like Switch from Sony or Microsoft. However, Xbox Play Anywhere on Surface and Surface phone will happen, and Tablets and phones built on the PS4 OS and chipset will happen in time as well.

Any ecosystem that wants to survive in the next decade has to have competitive home, portable, and mobile offerings. It is going to be expected that when you buy a game or application, that it works on your home device, your portable device, and your phone. Anyone trying to sell software for a single device ecosystem, will be squeezed out due to the limited value of their product compared to the competition.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter.
