Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo Says No Information on Game Titles or Spec Information for Switch until 2017

That's fine. I was just happy to finally get to know what the thing is.

Just wanted confirmation of the concept, that's pretty much good enough for me.

Though seriously Nintendo needs to stop acting like their each one of their poops is some holy work of art that needs to kept secret like Roswell aliens.

It's a decent looking system Nintendo, but it doesn't need to be kept under lock and key like it's going to change humankind, lol.

You made a Nvidia Shield with an LCD screen on it, whoopity doo.

The specs will probably leak from a development source anyway.

Thats logical, why would they spend money advertising a product thats not present in the holliday season?

Welp, now a new set of Switch Rumors begin. And we were soooo...close... Either Nintendo is trying to make sure its holiday showings aren't overshadowed, or there's something else to Switch. More than meets the eye...

I thibk this.  The reveal was to get it out there in the minds of the public but meanwhile they'll want all eyes on pokemon for the holidays.

They have a few games on 3DS left for the holidays, which include Pokemon Sun and Moon, and the NES classic edition. Guess they'll let those be the focus for the holidays and give Switch all the attention starting early next year.

To be expected from nintendo.

Its true. The big titles are coming. Cant wait for........that....the one......thing...

Oh right, Nintendo is still potentially in the archaic region-lock camp. It's so easy to forget these days that region-locking exists, but it's moments like this that remind us of its existence.

In other news, Nintendo is in no hurry about anything.

Guess they wanna go easy on Sony and Microsoft one last time. If they reveal too much now, they'll take away most of the console market share. This will let the competition have one more great holiday season before Nintendo takes the kid gloves off and dominates the industry again next year.

Nintendo is playing everyone like a fiddle, which is awesome. The whole production has been ace. Even the wait, in context.
