If anything, I think 3rd parties will begin hyping their upcoming Switch releases and showing off gameplay.

But no point in talking specs, it will look bad compared to more powerful competing hardware.

They probably want to shift the all, or at least a majority, of their focus on what games & hardware and software sales they have left for this holiday season, and by that I mean Pokemon Sun/Moon and the 3DS.
Then once it's passed, they'll flip the switch.
