Forums - Nintendo Discussion - The Switch could be make-or-break for Nintendo.

The Switch will bomb harder than the Virtual Boy and Kimishima will be a sad man.

I think that if the Switch flounders, we'll get a 3DS successor. We might even get one, anyway. I'm not sold on the Swii doing well against mobile devices. As a portable, it's going to be expensive and inconvenient, both of which are negatives in that space.

Absolutely no reason why we would get a 3DS successor when Nintendo can just put the Switch hardware, inside a new she'll. It'd just be a new SKU, all the same games. Vise versa for s cheap home console.

The Switch can't really break Nintendo. Its the same generation and with the same hardware Nintendo can revert back to their standalone consoles/handhelds. They'll still benefit from the shared library of games.

Yes, I agree that this is make it or break it for Nintendo. They haven't had a stable 5 years behind them, with the failure of the Wii U and just the moderate success of the 3DS. If this doesn't fly... what will they do? Also, tag - will read this thread later

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
