There isn't a real way of going back on this.
I mean unless someone will be sued for false advertising. And Nintendo really doesn't like to get sued :(.

Let's hope it's just some PR statement because Nintendo still has a software NDA out there.

I guess they showed the Android or IOS version. Switch still has some secrets.

This isn't on Nintendo. Clearly Bethesda allowed them to use the footage so it's on them. They're just pretending it might not be on the Switch in order to try and drum up some hype in the future when they officially announce it.

If it isn't then something went terribly wrong in the last week of negotiations. Nintendo would not air that trailer if they weren't confident it was coming to the Switch, so if this IS true then it must have happened immediately after they aired it.

To be fair Nintendo hasn't confirmed Splatoon, Mario Kart or that 3D Mario game either

It might have been a case of Nintendo themselve having nothing to show, so they paid Bethesda to use Skyrim.
