No. I think being more than X1 and PS4 by $100 or more would harm the Switch's ability to make sale with general gamers in the west. I do think this will do well in Japan though at $400.
$300 would be better, since you can get the PS4 and Xone at 400..
I think it will be in the $350-400 price range though

Woah, not even close I think it will be $249, which is about right, much higher and they're in trouble.
It really depends on what the dock does. Does it enhance the Switch's processing power? If so, yes 399 is fair. Considering you're not tethered to your home anymore when you want to play amazing looking games.
Bandorr said: No, no it is not. It would be dead in the water at $400. It needs to be a max of $300. |
I think people will respect it more if it has a similar price as Xbone and PS4. It'll make it less of a 'toy'.
Well if it is more powerful than the Xbox One(as some people here are saying), then there is no chance it will be less than $299 considering it contains an expensive and large LCD screen built in. It doesn't have a blu ray drive/UHD drive so you can minus the $30 odd for that but either it is below the Xbox One S in terms of power or it will be more expensive that the Xbox One S. $399 would be marketing suicide.
