Forums - Sony Discussion - PlayStation Network data dump reveals extent of PSN issues

It's a totally useless info since he admits that may be only one server off-line but the service being unaffected. And he doesn't even sum the total time or gives the average.

But from the title and narrative we can guess what was the intention.

Myself, I have had very little issue with PSN problem that ocurred with me is on PSN store that usually needs to buy 3 times for it to work out.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Blizzard gets DDosed all the time no one bats an eye

Sony gets DDosed and everyone looses their mind

This tells us so very little that I can't even form a conclusion either way.

Sounds like Xbox Live has the same problems just to apply context.

Apply context to what exactly? Context is there.

PSN has been down a fews times recently for me, specifically the store. When its not down it takes forever to load.

Do I have to explain? Ok article says Xbox Live is in the same boat. So if you use Xbox you can see that the article is all puff and no pastry because both services run smoothly. Without pointing this out people that use Xbox exclusively could think the issue is worse than it is. Hence context applied.

Oh, so damaged control? I figured. The article is talking about down time of PSN, currently not XBOX. This is that kind jumpy console crap, where somebody always feels the need to bring in the "other" console. There is no claims of one service being better than the other, so a need to to "XBOX too" is unneeded

You're just talking shit. I'll leave you with this quote from article. Toodles!

'Let's put this into context tomorrow, because it seems our friends at Microsoft are very much in the same boat.'

I think it looks worse than it actually is. Since I got my PS4 back in March I have experienced this once maybe twice and it was literally for like maybe 10mins both times.

The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

Nobody said MS ISNT in the same boat, but XBOX is the not focus of THIS article. So why bring them up?

I would love to see something like this for Destiny servers. That game is forever giving out those weird error codes.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.
