I want a poll of everyone's thoughts on when tuey beliwve the NX will launch. Will they keep the March release date, or at 5 months out give or take and no announcement mean its pushed back.

Personally, I think it's delayed.

Sure why not, as long as it has reasonable software at launch, I should pick it up if it is affordable.

no, because just dance 2017 is launching on nx

Haha, no. Nintendo has basically nothing slated for 2017 at this point. If the NX gets delayed until holiday 2017, they are going to have a really, really bad year.

Zelda botw and a few churned out smaller games will be easy to do

If it is, Nintendo is screwed in 2017. Nobody is going to care that much about 3DS ports...and spinoffs...which is all that's coming to 3DS, besides Dragon Quest XI of course.

No, because Nintendo has barely has any games left as it is, and definitively would suffer a drought that would last almost a year if they decided to go that route. Not the best image for a company that wants to release a new console.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

The problem is, Nintendo seems to want to launch BotW with the NX to boost early life cycle sales. They have shown zero interest in appealing exclusively to the Wii U crowd anymore, so I doubt they'll compromise sales from potential early Wii U -> NX adopters just to try to fill a hole in their currently empty schedule. Considering how many watered down shallow games they've quickly developed and released in the past couple of years, I doubt people are going to be eating up that method of slightly alleviating an otherwise near year long game drought either.

Nintendo really needs the NX to launch in March like they told their shareholders it would. Nintendo's success in 2017 is riding on a successful early year NX launch.

No, and we will get confirmation of March release in near future, in next 10 days latest.

No, if so what are Nintendo fans going to play for the next 12 months then?
