Also, take note that this doesn't include the PSVITA version which got only a digital release. It also doesn't include the digital PS4 version. We are talking about PS4 retail only here.

So in other words this is a great debut for a niche franchise in the west that tries to capture a new audience (minecraft audience) along with the RPG audience with zero marketing. I think the demo helped a lot here but i never expected that it would sell more than DQVIIR because it's a remake of a game that never got released in Europe and it was released for 3DS which right now has the Dragon Quest/RPG audience.

Is this a joke?? Builders has had more advertising than any DQ game since 9 came out back in 2010 in the west.

Wow, that's surprising. DQVII did piss poor in the US and EU. Quite sad, actually. But Heroes did okay and seeing that this game did better than Heroes is promising.

So this is PAL only, or WW?

I assume DQVIIR is DQVII for 3ds?

I think that Dragon QUest 7 had a decent remake on the 3DS. Isn't a remaster.

Awesome, this game is great so it deserves this!!!

Hopefully we get DQ VIII on PS2 for PS4 thing, but I guess SE won´t do it until after DQVIII releases on 3ds.
Happy for builders, I don´t like playing on handhelds so I hope DQ gets more love on home consoles.
