And here I was getting my hopes up...
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Makes sense I guess.
Hmm, pie.
How many mobile games does Square Enix do in one year? They are seriously prolific there, so many new games and ports.
They go for a handheld title next. No surprise it's android / iOS. They are pushing that medium hard and seem to get good returns.
Still hope for a SO6 in a few years on ps4.
Knew it was going to be a smartphone title before I even clicked and when I clicked was even more disappointed.
I get the distinct feeling Square might have not been happy with numbers Star Ocean 5 made, seeing as how I seen it on sale few months after, so this is a no brain er for them to make a lot of money.

Next-gen likely with a PS4 version exclusive in Japan.
SE doesnt make more than two Star Ocean (new games) WW in the same gen anymore.
SO1 = SNES
I'm hoping we get a remaster for SO3.....but I think they'll do a PS2 classic instead :/ |
Sounds about right.
With SE it's usally a 70% chance of being mobile. Here's the key: If the game sounds exciting and fun from SE, expect it to be a mobile port or mobile game
