There will be a screen. There will be detachable controllers. It just won't be a tablet that plugs into the Tv, but rather a console that you can take the screened controller with you and do unique things.

That's basically ... a gaming tablet.

And it won't "plug in" to the TV, because it's 2016 and we don't need for it to plug into the TV, it can wirelessly stream to a receiver/dock/dongle, Nintendo already invested in this technology for Wii U but Chromecast also does it (as do many other devices).

Such a device is not going to have a AMD GPU that consumes 45-50 watts of electricity either. That would kill even a giant laptop sized battery in 45 minutes.

No, it's not.  The primary APU will not be in the tablet, but in the console.  And thus, AMD works just fine.

So it's a Wii U, lol.

There is no market for a 3 1/2-years-too-late Nintendo console.

A hybrid that can play the same games on the go is basically Nintendo's only real play here IMO, they are going to get destroyed by Sony and MS if they think they are showing up 4 years late to the party and taking away marketshare from the PS4/XB this late in the game.

The portable needs to be able to play the same games. Not "companion" games, not half-assed down ports, but the same games, so Nintendo is not put into situations where a game like Splatoon is not available to 80% of their own audience because most Nintendo hardware buyers even don't buy the console.

The console is a *liability*. Nintendo fans need to understand this. It's not helping Nintendo having their best games locked off from 80% of their buyer base.

Yes, it is essentially a Wii U, but significantly better executed.  It has other "hooks" too.  But it's not a gaming tablet like you think it is, and that isn't their only play.

Actually, it was confirmed that nVidia was the chip manufacturer for NX, not AMD as people previously speculated.

Confirmed by who, Nintendo or Nvidia? Because any other source doesn't count as a confirmation.

Confirmed by Eurogamer, they had already seen the NX/NS.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

That wasn't a confirmation, that was an article describing what their sources told them. No more, no less.

The only ones who could confirm anything were Nintendo, who still hasn't said anything, or Nvidia, who have already confirmed it now, after the reveal, but without mentioning what processor is the Switch using.

Please excuse my bad English.
