I agree in the sense that the education system forced down kids throats antitheistic theories. But soon enough some of they will find God for themselves.

It may be shameful to declare themselves believers in something in those countries, but it does not matter, some of them will find faith.

Its not shameful to be religious. Also we never learned any antitheistic theories. Can you clarify what you mean by antitheistic theories ?

Things like the Haeckels drawnings or the Mithocondira Eve hoax or the Lucie hoax, that even after being debunked still make their way into school books.

Also, of course, theories about the beginning of the Universe, which are still a mistery for science, being threated like fact, that can happen. Well, it is thousands of small little things that can create a antitheistic environment.

But my point is that it does not matter, faith will find a way, even in the most antitheistic society, people will find God, always.

And when the time comes when antitheistic societies decide to anihilate the people of faith, then it will get even more stronger.

I do know a few believers in Sweeden by the way.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Thank god almighty !

I think many people are spiritual nonetheless.

They may not believe in God in a organized religion but think there is a higher power.

I likely fall into that.

You think Europe will go around and annihilate people of faith ?

Mithocondria eve hoax, Lucie hoax, Haeckels drawings ? You have to be more precise how they are debunked and where your sources are. Also I did not even have biology on this level in highschool as I chose other subjects in the 9th grade. As have many other people. While I was in school the origin of the universe was not taught. So where did this antitheistic indoctrination come from.

Religion was born out of ignorance and then twisted into a tool to manipulate and control the weak masses.

Education and wealth will eradicate religion, in due time.

Spirituality, personal faiths... Well, who knows.

A higher power would fit into what I said about faith always finding a way into humans psyche.

The difference is that a person like me believe not only in a higher power, but in a supreme, most high power as the first cause of existence itself.

I kinda liked it. And in a situation like that I think a few people would rediscover faith somehow, maybe a bible would be found in a attic or someone would find a gospel movie DVD somewhere, faith would reborn once more.

Is this really a forum for this kind of stuff? God damn.

You can't kill God because you can't kill an idea. And that's all God is, an idea or a concept that can't be proven, so...yeah.

Atheism will never eliminate religion because we live in a world of free will where tradition trumps progression and logic.
