I think nothing can save this, it was never popular enough to generate nostalgia and it is no longer a fever among kids to ensure some profit from the little ones. It has disaster written all over it.
If they want to make movies about minor cartoon hits, they should have a 20 million dollar ceiling to the production and hire directors that are used to deal with small budgets.

Holy shit, I didn't even know this existed. I was a huge fan of Max Steel when I was a toddler or whatever. I still have a DVD of the show and some action figures laying around from back then.

Also, this is based off of a reboot of the original show, which I didn't know about either. This movie looks like garbage, certainly not interested in seeing it. Nice to know nonetheless.

The movie released? I had no idea. The new cartoon seems nice. I watched a few episodes. The animation is fluid enough, but sometimes thr voice acting can get a bit hammy.

Yeah, The movie is based on the 2013 show. To answer the OP question: Hell No!!! The trailer was awful.
