Trump is way too unstable and unpredictable which also includes his relations with Russia, the guy can barely keep his party together now imagine international relations. Not to say that Russia is happy with Clinton but if I were Putin I would probably want someone that is a little more predictable.

It's not inevitable and I doubt it will ever happen. If it was going to happen it would've happened in the 1960s at the height of the Cold War. 

Nuclear war isn't really even a war, it's mutually assured destruction, that's why it won't happen because would you get into a fight you were gaurunteed to die in? Nope. Even the Soviets realized this, the Cuban Missle Crisis was the most dangerous point in human history, much more dangerous than the time we live in.

I agree.  And whoever launches the first volley loses the nuclear war.  The other side doesn't even have to return fire for destruction to be mutually assured.  The Cold and The Dark: The Aftermath of Global Nuclear War (by Carl Sagan) explains this in chilling detail.

The incoming warheads would have to be intercepted mid-flight, then disabled, disarmed or destroyed before they can go off.  The US has an impressive defense grid to attempt this, so anyone hoping to get something through would probably have to launch a massive assault with a number of different targets.  Unfortunately, Russia is a country that could feasibly pull that off, and the US certainly capable of doing the same in kind. 

This stalemate has kept nuclear forces in check, but at this point, deterrence is an illusion.  Pressing the Big Red Button is an act of suicide even if the target refuses to fire back.

If the nukes get launched, then yes.  The Southern Hemisphere is where you'll want to be if that happens.  You'd have up to six additional months to prepare for long-term survival.

Both Russia and America are playing games in Syria instead of dealing with Daesh. Both should stop their scheming and propaganda and first rid Syria of Daesh. Stop attacking the supposed peaceful rebels and the assad regime and focus on Daesh. They cna destroy Deash in a matter of months if they want, then let Syria decide what it wants and at the very least then continue their stupid game. America is no hero and neither is Russia cause their is no hero here, only selfish trash includng Daesh,America and Russia
