Forums - Politics Discussion - A vote for Trump is indefensible

Almost.  With Trump objectively worse by a substantial margin, a vote for Hillary has strategic value even though she's a lousy candidate herself.  A vote for Trump (the worst Presidential candidate out of the current four and probably the worst Presidential candidate in American history) cannot even claim this--with three better options to cast a ballot, one for Trump is indefensible.

I would say Hillary is worse. Straight up. I'm not saying I'm voting for Trump, but Hillary is a fucking crook, backstabber, liar, manipulator, etc.. She only cares about herself, as shown by all the recent email leaks and as shown in the past.

I see your list and I raise you one OP (which does openly state that Hillary is only one of three better alternatives to Trump).

Why should I?  You're already made up your mind.  You're not here to find answers.  No matter what I say you'll find a reason to disagree.  And I'm find with that in and of itself.  It's just that I and the rest of the country don't need the political self-righteous intolerance that thinks their party can do no wrong while the other is scum.  Remember, it was you who said:

"It's defensible if you're a cultural conservative or a single-issue voter (read: abortion), or a white nationalist or isolationist."

The above statement is shortsightedness at best, self-righteously closed-minded intolerance at worst.  Pick one.  Come back when you're more enlightened.

I'm back! And I'm more enlightened now.

Can you answer my questions now please? If you feel strongly about voting for Trump - if you're proud of that decision - surely you can defend it? If I'm close-minded, as you insist, isn't that the only way to open my mind? To expose me to a different point of view?

I'm giving you the floor. Speak your mind.

What if some of us just outright distrust her? She may come out and say a million things I like, but what is that really worth? I honestly don't feel I can take her word to the bank. Donald, on the other hand, I trust will at least try to carry out some of the things that he has said. He has funded his campaign in a way that Clinton hasn't. I feel like Clinton is just going to be a puppet that allows the establishment to do whatever it was going to do anyway whereas Donald is a real roadblock and a problem for it. I mean let's be honest here, none of the powers that be want Donald to be president, we have seen this over and over again. I think there may be a really sinister reason for that. So I'm going to place my vote on somebody who represents a problem to the government that I have grown a great distaste for more and more over the years.

Is that a good enough reason for you people? Or are you just going to go over my comment and tell me to elaborate and ask me a question concerning every statement I made?

It's funny how people who accuse Hilary do so by stating things as if they were facts with no actual (primary) sources to back them up.

Then you have Trump who says something crazy and utterly stupid every time he opens his mouth. You don't need any media to twist his words. He does all their work on his own.

A vote for Trump is a vote for peace, for the end of Globalism and for the rebuild of US. I hope he wins, Hillary wants war, she is evil, she hates people, she thinks she is better than everyone and she threats common folk like dirt.
A vote for Hillary brings the Third World War. She does has the SJW support because they want a freak in office, but they do not know better.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

It's funny how you say people who accuse Hillary do so with no actual facts but then you go ahead and do the same exact thing.

So this is just another prime example of everybody playing this double standard game. I notice people always want to accuse on side of doing something that they themselves do.

I tend to agree with this. Trump certainly a safer bet for us little guys.

It's sad how some people will take things for face value alone and wouldn't think for themselves by reading between the lines.  If you have to become so reliant by being spoon fed, you'll believe anything as long as it fits your personal agenda.

Did you not read Hillary's emails that were leaked?

Neither Trump nor Hillary should be President. No one should vote for either of them.
