There are enough threads on this site to avoid religious and political threads. I don't think ive ever commented on one, I just ignore them :)

The numbers not getting updated are annoying but then again Vgchartz numbers have mostly lost all credibility due to not tracking digital sales.

The NX well....I can see why it annoys you hahaha, I don't mind because Im not expecting anything special from Ninty.

I wholeheartedly agree. Too much bullshit on this site at times. Also all the threads about murderers and rapists and shit. Take that somewhere else.

I think there's a few reasons for this:

1) The lack of updates to the sales numbers. This might be the biggest reason as to why I'm losing interest in this site; the updates come sporadically and in chunks. How are we supposed to compile and discuss the latest sales numbers when the numbers quite often lags 2 months behind and the updates are huge chunks of several weeks worth of data at once.

2) All these "General Discussion"-threads about religion, the US election and such. I don't care to discuss any of these two mentioned topics HERE, on this site; Fuck any and all Gods, and double fuck Trump. Stating things like this almost ALWAYS get you into long discussions with offended people, and I don't wanna talk about these things here. This is a v-i-d-e-o g-a-m-e site, so it irks me when I see the "Forum Hot Topics" filled with threads about religion and Trump.

3) Fuck Nintendo for not releasing any info about the NX. All we get is rumors, leaks, speculation. While all of this can be really interesting and fun, that's not the case after 18 months. Enough is enough already. Give us SOMETHING. Give us GAMES for the NX, give us the HW look, maybe some specs - but that's not necessary. Give us something solid.

I dunno, there might be other issues for me for not partaking in the discussions here any more. Maybe I'm just too old. Maybe life has gotten in the way.

Sorry for the rant.

I still think I want the new Zelda on the NX.

Dropping of N4G, lack of sales updates are two reasons why this is not my go to site annymore.

The only thing I have a real comment on is about the sales numbers. They are actually updated weekly (almost, at least), but they're always a month behind. The problem is no one is making thread to discuss said numbers. And the main problem is when someone makes said thread, discussion is not there. I remember when it used to be a race for who made the thread for the new numbers first, we need that again.

As for the other 2 points. We will get NX news in due time. And General discussion seems to have a cycle: front page, leaves front page, goes back to front page...



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

The problem with the sales, at least on the hardware side, is that it's really boring this generation. Sony has first place on lock, Microsoft will stay second and Nintendo can't be anything but third.

Last gen provided a much more interesting race: Xbox 360 with its one year lead, the Wii speeding past it while the PS3 struggled, then the PS3 made a comeback passing the 360 and then speculation begun around the possibility of PS3 passing the Wii. This meant that every stage of last gen was exciting to talk about.

I used to feel like that when the sales updates almost completely stopped. But then machina saved us all. They're not as up to date as I'd like but at least we get them.
