Forums - Website Topics - Dear VGChartz, could you please slow down the speed you update the charts?

I have found that with the constant updates for the hardware and software numbers, we get the hot topic section flooded with worldwide numbers from recent weeks and honestly it looks like a confusing mess and leaves little room open for any other discussion that isn't numbers.

A couple of times I have made a post discussing the weekly numbers for X week in a wrong thread because honestly it is hard to know where you are posting when you have nothing but WWUP threads in front of you. I am not the only one, I have been quoted in threads I haven't even opened yet.

If you think about it, waiting a little, like a couple of weeks, to update the numbers and let some game releases pile up, you get a single thread that can last for a while and that has a lot of new information and numbers to talk about, instead of a beehive of WWUP threads whose discussion get aborted in some days because: "HEY! We got new numbers! And last week doesn't matter anymore because NEW NUMBERS!"

So yeah, I think slowing down the chart updates and waiting a couple of weeks to update the front page would make room for more gaming-related discussion in the hot topic section and a better discussion of gaming related sales with a more concise amount of information of how games sold in the first week and the weeks after.

Anyways, my two cents. Greetings from Bizarro World.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:
