I'll rephrase my statement; it's confirmed to be recieving some sort of support with PS4 Pro, but it's not known whether it will simply be 1080p with better performance, or 4K. I'm assuming 4K, but I'm not sure because they might not be able to maintain 60 FPS at that setting. We'll see.

 Well, not native 4K, of course. I'm talking about the 4K upscale + HDR and tile rendering, like what games like Call of Duty, Horizon, and Mass Effect will be making use of. Thing is, the game might be forced to run at 30 FPS if they do that. Multiplayer will probably be 1080p/ 60 FPS at best.

A lot of people droppef Battlefront and it died pretty quickly while the opposite happened to BF4.

 Kindof a shame. The game had so much potential.

Given that the game is built to run at 60fps on consoles, I doubt they'd half the framerate just to accomodate a higher resolution. The 2K-reconstructed-to-4K seen in the likes of Mass Effect/COD/Horizon is possible, but those games are all 1080p on the standard PS4, so they require only a doubling of pixel output to do the 2x1080p checkerboard trick.

Being a 900p game on stock PS4, BF1 would have to increase its pixel count by more like 3-fold to hit 2x1080p, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Pro mode of BF1 runs at 1080p/60fps.

 Meh. Either way, still a good reason to get it on PS4, since I am buying a PS4 Pro.

Damn it, without guidance I went out and bought Star Wars: Battlefront since it was only 18 Euros at the EA Origin store for PC with the EA Acess monthly subscription which I also bought. Does anyone want to play?

And all of a sudden the Ultimate edition of BF1 got 13 euros cheaper and now only costs 120 euros.

Got too many games I need to finish before I make the purchase. I have over 70 PS4 games lol. Unless this game is really amazing, I might even just skip it as it is mainly online and they tend to have very finite lifespans(although Battlefield 4 was supported for a long time).

Some Dirext X error that came after 10 minutes of play. But I managed to get rid of it eventually.

I love it so far. Could u tell why people are so critical of it?

Also, about SW: Battlefront, what puzzles me that I almost never get to play with a partner. I know the game doesn't have squads like Battlefield, but sometimes it puts me with a "partner" (I think it's called) which is a huge advantage because you can spawn much closer to the front. But in my roughly 10 maps and 3 hours I've only ended with a partner three times, and not for any length of time. How can I influence this? I want a partner all the time.

Help!!!!

And if any other of you guys play SW please tell about your experience, and about what game modes you play and why.

And if you are on PC  I would love if someone could join me for a session (I don't have a mic yet, but we can start this way).
