Yeah, but Battlefield is expensive too. Something like 130 Euro for the package that lets you play 3 days early (and also gives season pass). Deluxe edition I think?

Because of price I haven't bought it yet, I need someone to encourage me to do it. I've never paid more than like $80 for a game.

But BF1 also has a great server browser and is a better game than Battlefront. Com'on man, we need you!

Doesn't mean I should be obliged to dump £80+ on a limited experience.

You can buy the game for top price. I'll be waiting for my deep discount

Yeah. The steep price was the reason why I didn't buy Battlefront at all. That plus the mediocre reviews.

But right now Star Wars: Battelfront is on an offer at only 20 Euros for the base game and 48 Euros for the Ultimate edition at EA Origin. Should I buy it?

I wonder, the game seems to have so many different items, functions and features. I would be overwhelmed if I tried it. Plus everyone else is extremely experienced. Would I be looking forwards to a 0.1 K/D ratio?

Already pre-ordered on PS4. Would've bought on PC, but more friends on PS4.

Lucky you. I have 0 friends on EA Origin lol and don't even own a PS4.

Gonna have to play with randoms.

Considering EA's long history of screw-ups. I'll pick it up when it's cheap.
I am over paying full price for games anyway.

I'll be buying it on Xbox One. I'm not sure when I will get it though. I'm in line for Gears so it could be forever before I actually buy this game.

Go for it.

Not for me though. I paid full price for the abse game and I'm not paying the current price for the season pass until it's dirt cheap. Even then it won' be worth the moeny since the playerbase on PC is near dead.

You're looking at this after, rather than before and even then most of those are locked to season pass content, content I do not have and do not have full access to, just like with battlefield servers that have BF maps that I didn't own at the time.

You'd probably be overwhelmed, not me though,

Especially with the way AAA games are these days. I'll never be buying them at full price.

I still remember nabbing Fallout 4 last Dec for £24 on GMG, at a price that was cheaper than Steam's own Winter sale lol.

And with the amount of games we have available these days, there is less of a need to run out and buy the latest and greatest. :P

I bought Battlefield 4 for like $5 each for PC and Xbox. And got all the DLC free on both Platforms, that was a win.

But considering the flop that was Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3's ending, Battlefield 4, Sim City, how average Battlefield: Hardline was, StarWars Battlefront, not having games on Steam, Battlelog, Servers are always flaky on a games launch... Expensive DLC/Microtransactions in all the games... I just see less of a desire to buy anything EA.
But that's still a step-up from Ubisoft. lol

Doom is now a third of the Price, so might pick that up instead to tie me over.

I pre ordered battlefield 1 today on the ps4. Regular edition for $60 on my American account. Which is €17 cheaper than buying at my local gamestop. I didn't get the ultimate edition because it's a crazy $130. Instead I'll get the season pass on sale next summer.

Ps4 is the place to be. That platform will be the most active in a few years. Just look at hardline and battlefront on pc. Tiny community nowadays.

Battlefield 4 is better but still well behind ps4.

But guys, with single player games I fully understand the waiting argument, but with multiplayer you gotta be there from the start.

How do you imagine you will enjoy Battlefield 1 like 6 months from now when everyone who's still playing at that point is really skilled and knows all the maps in and out?
