I think Trump can negotiate some kind of deal there. Mexico can have a nice northern wall to match their southern wall

Since that is the only policy you brought up its all I can respond too.

Seems dems can only spout off about stuff not related to running the country. Let me lnow when you have problems with his policies, not his character. Because I mean really if we are going off character, Hillary and Trump are in a tie running to the bottom, but at least one has done it on his own dime and not as a politician.

They are not "equal" in character in my eyes, Clinton has given 30+ years of her life to public service, served as a state senator, served as a two term first lady under what I think most Americans would consider a prosperous presidency, marched in the civil rights movement, etc. etc. In reality I think she is one of the most experienced people to ever run for the office. Trump is maybe the most morally bankrupt person to ever run for the presidency.

It's hard to debate Trump's "policy" positions because most of it is bullshit which he will flip flop on. Case in point, he whines about China this, China that, trade deficet this and that (something he's been parroting since the 1980s by the way, only then he was blaming Japan).

Of course America has a trade deficet with other countries. They consume more goods than anyone else in the world because they are the largest consumer market. The average Chinese household doesn't have 2-3 cars, 3-4 TVs, washer/dryer, and a mountain full of other shit. Most average Chinese people are working just to have food on the table. Of course we are going to have a trade deficet with them, they work themselves to death for pennies on the dollar so we can buy a bunch of cheap crap to feel happy about ourselves for 10 minutes. This is the part Trump won't tell you because it doesn't sound so good.

Personally too I think the "she's a politican" line is so incredibly stupid. What exactly do you think the person nominated is going to be doing? They are going into the world of POLITICS. Hate to break it to people, but that's the reality of it. It's like saying you don't like your soccer team so you're going to have basketball players play instead ... well yeah, lets see how that goes when they have to play soccer.

I understand there is frustration against the "system", but Trump is the (very) wrong answer to the right question.

I am sorry but having a well payed job that you choose to do that does not endanger your life is not serving your country in sacrifice. Again I dont agree with career politicians. It was not the intent of the founding fathers to have career politicians, nor are they sacrificng anything. Let me know when chooses to giver all her money to the people she says she cares about and live off 30-60k a year, Than I will consider her sacrifice. She can stop using private jets as well, and get rid of her 10k dresses and clothes. Sacrifice my butt

He has said what he would do with china, he would take them to town on their currency manipulation, he would raise tarrifs when needed to bring jobs back to america. Yes we are the biggest consumers, doesnt mean we have to consume stuff made in other countries it can be made here too. He is against the TPP, and NAFTA, basically the outsourcing of jobs. He is for a more streamlined less convulted tax code (easy for rich to abuse complicated systems). And most of all he is the only candidate that has mentioned states rights, which I am for as well. Government should be as close to those governemed as possible, and not removed to some far away place where as Hillary said it "I am removed from the life common people live" polticians run things.

I am a firm believer in America first. I am fine with Tarriffs and protectionism. We should protect our economey just as we proteect our safety, they go hand in hand. We must start being producers again and not servicers. The only way to do that is to stop other countries from under cutting us on jobs since they are ok slaving away for mere food to stay alive. Its funny that liberals want everyone in the US to be fed and have healthcare but are fine with jobs going over seas for being to be slave labor, doesnt that seem imperialistic and unkind. Americans getting rich off the back of others? We should do it ourselves and help bring up poor people her and set the example the workd should live by, not plunder the poor countries of the world and take their resources.

I'm sure they have some kind of roadmap of increasing awfulness by which they go and they release these videos .

It's election time, that's the perfect time to remind people what they candidates said and did in the past. It's Trumps own fault he left himself wide open to this.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

The irony is strong with this one. So strong it's not even funny.

1. I'm not suggesting, I'm outright saying that in several European countries life is much worse than in America. Have you lived in Greece? Albania? Serbia? Bulgaria? Cyprus?

2. Read what I wrote again instead of what you imagined I did. "several European countries". Not all.

3. That's vague as hell. Wanna be more specific? How are LGBT rights? How is the job market? I'm gonna let you on a little secret: what matters to you may not matter to another citizen.

4. Not sure what social servers are, but wanna back up that claim about "level of happiness"? A couple of sources will do.

5. Define ever. So, was America a few centuries ago without modern medicine and human rights better? Was it better when there were slaves and black and gay people were getting murdered while most people didn't give a damn? (same with the rest of the world and basic human rights). Le'ts be real.

6. I'm gonna inform all my American friends who are not rich that they are mistaken about being happy. Apparently, they aren't. How anyone can be this misinformed is beyond me.

I get that not everywhere is the same. Eg. liveing in northern/central europe is probably more fun than say Albania or serbia ect.

That much is pretty true.

How are LGBT rights? in denmark? there pretty great, I think we where resently voted as one of the best places in the world to live as a "gay" person.

Jobmarket? I think its fine? I dont know.

Social services & happyness levels? denmark is often amoung the most happy places in the world by populace. Social services are also pretty great.

http://www.sciencealert.com/the-world-happiness-index-2016-just-ranked-the-happiest-countries-on-earth

7out of 10 countries in the top10 are a part of europe. (the 3 others are australia, new zealand, canada)

Europe isnt nearly as bad as some seem to make it out to be.

Read bolded.

I was clearly not talking about places like Sweden, Norway, German, the UK and Denmark. Saying Europe is better than America (both areas with vastly different countries/states/cities) is just ignorant. Same with the whole "hur dur, America sucks". It doesn't. Parts of it are better/worse than other parts. Just like everywhere else.

Now that Sanders is out of the race, Trump is the only one who can destroy the broken system so that it can be rebuilt. Hopefully in accordance with the vision of the founding fathers. Clinton will just perpetuate the system.

Let me start by saying that I won’t be voting for either candidate.  I just wanted to point out the dirty games that both parties play during election season.

We are witnessing the strategic takedown of Trump in the media by the DNC.

Take a look at CNN for example.  All these videos of Trump have been “surfacing” over the past few weeks and specifically the past few days.  Every few hours it seems CNN has a new Trump headline story.  These videos/sound clips have existed for years and only now are they being brought up.  Strange coincidence that there has been a steady stream of them since Wikileaks dumped 2000 of Hillary’s emails.  Point is don’t let them cause you to forget how unqualified and untrustworthy our next president (Hillary Clinton) is.

When I was a teenager I used to see Democrats as the 'good guys' and Republicans as the 'bad guys'.  This election and the last couple have helped me realize that I was wrong.  Both Democrats and Republicans are 'bad guys'.

You may be right : both sides could be 'bad guys' but Trump is definitely The baddest.

There's just one little thing which is that Hillary is infinitely more qualified to run the country, and more trustworthy than Trump.  Trump doesn't understand most of the issues, and is a chronic liar.  If you're not going to go out and vote, and vote Trump out from running the country, you are a bad guy.

The idea that Democrat or Republican politicians are "good" or "bad" guys is a mindset to try and get out of.  This "us" vs "them", "people" vs "politicians" is a mindset perpertrated by fear mongering in the media.  There are many good, moral, qualified people to run our cities, states, and country on both sides.  The Trump populus has been misled using fear tactics to support a candidate that is not of moral character or qualified for high office.

Trump has appealed to the blue collar populus by promising to keep more of their minimum wage jobs from being out-sourced out of the US.  A false idea: many of these jobs will be replaced by automation both in the US and out.  When what was 5000 people in a factory is replaced by 100 people and automation; the location is unimportant anymore.  The factories will be placed close to where the products will sell.  Trump actually has no proposals that will help Blue Collar cities through these very difficult transitions.

Meanwhile he is proposing enormous tax cuts to the 1%.  This would do nothing but increase the share of the pie for the owner class.  If you were a worker building air conditioners for Carrier (one of Trump's favorite companies to bring up), how would you feel getting a $50k or $100k pay raise?  Freaking amazing right?  Well sorry, that's what Trump is doing for the 1%... for the Carrier worker all he's getting is some hope that his minimal wage job won't be outsurced.

There's just one little thing which is that Hillary is infinitely more qualified I agree but only because Trump has almost no qualifications to do so to run the country, and more trustworthy than Trump I would never call Hillary trustworthy even when comparing to Trump.  Trump doesn't understand most of the issues, and is a chronic liar.  If you're not going to go out and vote, and vote Trump out from running the country, you are a bad guy.  Nice, getting personal.  I already stated I'm not voting for either one.

The idea that Democrat or Republican politicians are "good" or "bad" guys is a mindset to try and get out of.  This "us" vs "them", "people" vs "politicians" is a mindset perpertrated by fear mongering in the media.  You have to admit that the media, social media in particular, are skewed left.  Ignore this election and look back at the last two.  There are many good, moral, qualified people to run our cities, states, and country on both sides.  I agree.  The Trump populus has been misled using fear tactics to support a candidate that is not of moral character or qualified for high office.  Again, I am no Trump supporter.  I'm embarrassed for the Republican party for not fielding a competent candidate to challenge Hillary.

False, take one of the most recent examples: Ford's new plant being built in Mexico.  2,800 jobs, 1.6 billion dollars, being invested in another country.  That's pretty messed up especially when you look at the unemployment rate in Michigan and in the Detroit area.  These are not minimum wage jobs.  The factories will be placed close to where the products will sell.  Trump actually has no proposals that will help Blue Collar cities through these very difficult transitions.  He talked about ending NAFTA.

I don't agree with him on that.  Taxation in this country is beyond the point of repair.  It needs to be completely reformed.

I agree, most of the media is left of the middle.  I don't find it surprising given what the GOP brand has become.  They need to work on appealing to moderates.

What we need is a legitimate 3rd party.  It will probably never happen because of how expensive (both money and power) it is to join the game.

You gotta be kidding me if you are (1)suggesting that people live better on USA than on (2)Europe, sure some places on the country are better than some places of Europe, but several European countries are above USA (3)in every sense that it matters to a citizien, from (4)social servers to level of happiness. Modern USA is one of the most overrated places to live (5)ever, (6)only really good for the rich, bigger houses don't make it a better country to live.

Well, you could always look here:

USA is 14th.

8 European countries are ahead of the US.
