Forums - Politics Discussion - Why are people calling for Trump to exit the race when Hilary has done just as appalling stuff?

Is it too late to visit him and beg for forgiveness?

Is it too late to give back the lives lost by the war he started without proof?

Think about the things you say.

Hard to argue with. He collapsed the economy, killed thousands of people, let thousands of people lose their homes, and as a result Halliburton made billions. All from the comfort of the Crawford Ranch.

And the fact I am bringing him out as a suitable alternative highlights how horrible Clinton will be unless a freak incident puts her out of commission...

There is no way Clinton will do as bad as Bush. What do you really think she will do? Bush pushed the whole country to the edge, killed thousands of people on a lie, and dragged us into other countries. Plus he ignored intelligence that would have prevented 9/11. But in your mind he is the good guy?

Because the SJWs think the world is gonna end if they can´t have a liberal freak in the Whitehouse. They will calm down when they see Trump is doing a good job.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Hey to be fair Bush probably did set a record. The most vacation days. It must have been hard work to take off more than 400 vacation days.

I mean it is quite an accomplishment to actually take more than a year off in such a short period of time.

Yeah I do gotta give him credit. No one could vacation like him. Thousands of people dying on his word, while he cleared brush at his ranch and drank beer while not having a care in the world. Yet according to people here, he is better than Clinton.

As I've said before, if you're poor or in some other situation that allows you to get it free. That's going to account for a high percentage of people that love it.

If you're a normal working person that doesn't exactly make a lot of money, you very likely hate it. Before ACA a lot of us were paying significantly less for coverage, which is ironic given the name. What I'm essentially saying its been a burden on the average working person.

The ACA had caused my premium to increase 430% for coverage that is still slightly worse than the mediocre stuff I had before.  Nowadays, because of my high deductible, I see the doctor far less often than I used to.  So, the ACA has had a direct negative impact on the quality of my Healthcare and the money in my walllet.

Yep, thats just one of many examples of how ACA hurt the average working person. I got hit with something similar at a previous job.

I know people who reduced the number of hours they work to get free healthcare. Its a disaster.

As I said that is why saing 'its the best its ever been' is an absurd statement to make.

saying things are up is more accurate :)

But if things were so Good I doubt Bernie would have rosen through the ranks and that Trump be so popular.

Things aren't currently great, and there are a number of issues with wealth inequality, but these can't really be blamed on any one person (and they can't exactly be fixed easily either). They are the result of decades of economic policy and also partially the result of a lot of obstructionists in modern politics which makes change exceedingly slow.

That said, reality isn't always what Trump and Bernie tapped into. In the primaries, the average Trump supporter made $72,000per year, so he isn't really tapping into their economic hardships. He has largely been tapping into fear which is often irrational.

At least he was predictable... Crooked Clinton, on the other hand, can only worsen things. I'd take yet another Obama presidency (seriously, guy was nice) over her!

At this point, we're going to need a miracle to get him there first...

Voting for Trump is like appointing a homeless man to be CEO of Google. Complete absence of credentials for the position, not to mention he's an idiot.
