Hillary was a lawyer appointed by a judge to defend a shitty person.  She did her job.  Lawyers have to defend even the people they think are guilty or assholes to the best of their ability because we can't have lawyers being the judge before things even go to trial.  It's just how our criminal justice system works.  What would you suggest as an alternative?

^ this needs saying.

Protecting the law, and serveing it to work as is ment too, shouldnt be a bad thing.

Its weird how people can twist things.

The actions of an idiot doesn't justify the actions of another one.

And the opposite is the main argument that is being thrown around here and even by Trump himself.

That thinking is totally flawed. Yes. Hillary Clinton is a lying granny. Doesn't make Trump a saint when he is doing something wrong.

And Trump shows to be the even bigger idiot here by pointing his finger at others as justification.

Shit, wrong guy quoted...wanted to quote lurker...can't fix it on a smartphone.

Quoting what I said in another thread:

"I don't want Trump to win. But people act as if he's the only horrible person, because he is saying inappropriate things in public.

Do you know what speaks louder than Trump's words? Actions.

Obama, and Hillary after him, will continue to shake hands and sign multi billion dollar deals with the likes of oppressive regimes like Saudi Arabia. A country infested with sexism, homophobia, public beheadings and fucking crucifixions. Exactly what ISIS does. But since the US is in bed with Al of Saud, the media chooses to turn a blind eye. It's so hypocritical it hurts.

I chuckle each time media outlets paint Trump as a monster because of something he said, and when the democartic party nominees hold his SEXIST attitude against him. Hello? Slap some fucking sanctions on the likes of Saudi Arabia then I'll take your criticism of Trump seriously. (criticism of things related to social justice and what not, not his economical plans)"

Trump is filthy pig, big fucking deal. She's just as filthy, the only difference is she knows how to give speeches without dripping with filth.

That's all interesting but immaterial.  I asked you about what you think lawyers should do when assigned to defend a shitty person and how that would work in a functioning criminal justice system.  What exactly does that have to do with Saudi Arabia?

I am not suggesting anything. Your reply was cohesive and comprehensive, and I accept it.

I am not saying your wrong, but I am sick of the American Media losing their shit each time Trump says something sexist or inappropriate, why isn't the same media talking about how the US is in bed with a country that doesn't allow women to drive cars in 2016? What does Hillary, the champion of all feminists, plan to do about it?

Saudi Arabia is a tough pickle for the US.

Likely the situation with them would become worse not better if the US cut ties with them and ostracized them as an enemey. As bad as they are, they would also probably be even worse if the government was over thrown, which would likely lead to full-on fundamentalists to gain power.

The Obama adminstration is actually probably the first in a long time to not cow-tow to Saudi Arabia's every whim. Saudi pushed hard for a US war in Syria, US didn't take the bait, they also have started to normalize relations with Iran, which obviously pisses off Saudi Arabia, but at least the policy now is not so one sided. Energy indepedence also means the US is not nearly as depedand on Saudi Arabia for oil, which of course the Saudis are not happy about.

To be honest I don't really see Trump changing much of anything with regards to the US' foreign policy in general. If you are hoping he's going to change policy with $audi Arabia because he has personal integrity or principles, lol, you probably have another thing coming.

After the things Bill Clinton did IN the White House among other rumored sexual things and victims outside of it, why does this matter? Truly, if we let Bill get away with it and say "we don't care what he says or does in the sheets" which is what I've heard so many Democrats say to protect Bill, why is this an issue? I'll tell you, it shouldn't be. If people excuse one guy for his actions, then you need to exucse the next guy.

Both major presidental candidates are a refelection of the spiritual state of the USA.

I like how people think this kind of stuff is more important than Hillary's email situation.

People have combed over those emails like 5000 times hoping to find something notable and nothing. She's a 60-year old woman who was careless setting up an email account, Trump is the most unqualified person (morally, experience, temperment, self humilty, etc. etc. etc.) to ever be nominated for either party in the history of the country.

At some point the "what about-ism" stuff just starts to ring hollow. They are not the same, one candidate is clearly a lot worse.

I can't speak for everyone in my age bracket but this is interesting to witness as someone who was old enough to vote in the 90's.

Yet something like this won't matter. People already disgusted by them won't care.
Those already drunk on the kool-aid aren't suddenly going to snap out of it.

While I don't know how many people are "in the middle" I doubt anything this mild will suddenly cause them to to start considering trump.

The middle are the ones who decide these things and they're the ones who will be the most turned off by this audio.
