Emil was seriously the worst. Don't get me started on the ridiculous amount of stupid, stupid flashbacks. Tales of Symphonia 2 was a storytelling disaster.

Don't do it man. Symphonia 2 is terrible. Okay the battle system is actually pretty good but the story is bad and Emil is like taking Slo Mo from the Dredd movie and then being kick in the balls.

I'm still playing Zestiria so likely get this later in 2017 given how crowded game releases are early 2017.

Seriously, emil and the tsundere girl are so annoying, i stopped the game after the 2nd village (maybe 4/5 hours, i was at my limit). I just couldn't support it anymore, i wanted to kill them, for real.

The only game with characters like this is Star ocean 4, the whole cast is a joke.

I actually managed to finish it, only because I wanted to see what was going on with the original cast. ToS2 was a terrible waste. Given the conclusion of the original game and the merged world that resulted, they could have really done something special.
