Ok, here are the rules: You answer the two parts of each question, and post pictures for Awesomeness Points:

1 - Current favorite Anime. Why?

2 - Favorite Anime of all time. Why?

3 - Favorite Anime as a child. Why?

I start:

1 - Current: Sword Art Online. Because it is such a interesting idea and it is pretty sober in tone, I love soberty in animes.

2 - All time: Death Note. Because it is just a amazing story, killing people by writting their name, the power and the consequences of it.

3 - As a kid: Robotech. Fell in love with Mimei and loved the giant robots, also love the apocalyptical setting of a war with a alien superespecies. Also, it looked so much better than the american cartoons I was used with (there were no brazilian cartoons back in the day).

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Natsume Yuujinchou

Reason, I'll just copy and paste what I wrote in the anime thread.

Natsume Yuujinchou: Emotional, genuine, heartfelt are three words that i would use to perfectly some up Nastume's Book of Friends. The main plot of the anime involves Natsume returning the names of the yokai his grandmother stored in the book of friends that he inherited after her passing, much to the annoyance of his friend and "bodyguard" the powerfull and gluttonous yokai Madara. A rollercoster of emotons from laughter, sorrow, worry, sadness to elation, each one of the 52 episodes (seasons 1-4)  presents a new story, a new yokai looking for they're name back and a new character to fall in love with. From these stories, the sountrack to the characters and the chemistry between them, everything within this anime will invoke some sort of feeling that will leave you wiping away tears or laughing but always wanting more. My favourite anime of all time and one i dont think will be topped anytime soon or if ever.

Point three, I dunno.

Also when im here, go watch AOTY Season 5 that's currently airing.

I took note of that anime you mentioned to try. I am watching Sword Art Online tonight =)

Current Favorite: One Punch Man, because holy shit do I need to explain?

All-time Favorite: Hunter X Hunter, because Godspeed is the coolest ability ever, from activation all the way to how abruptly it ends.

As a Kid: DragonBall Z, duh.

My current is Your Lie in April. It was very sad and it stuck with me. Plus the music is excellent.

My all time favorite is Outlaw Star. I had buddies who claimed Cowboy Bebop was better, but Outlaw Star is king for me. But, Cowboy Bebop does have my all time favorite anime episode, so it was a tough call.

I didn't have a favorite growing up.

Current (I will take it as ongoing or a sequel is coming or something recent)
- Attack on Titan ( I am trying my best from not getting spoiled until the next season next year! But I love the suspense and the world this anime takes)

All time
- FMA Brotherhood (them 50+ eps........ what a ride!)

Childhood
- I guess Yi Gi OH

Pocky Lover Boy!

1. Current

Whoa what's this, Sailor Moon?! No it's Madoka Magica.

What makes it so good? It's a very short anime, only 12 episodes in length, but in that time it manages to pace itself properly, provide great character development for the entire cast and provide some philosophical themes to keep you thinking. It's a well told story that will make you think and provide high levels of feels. It's pretty easy to recommend to any anime fan.

2. All Time - Yeah it's Madoka

3. When I was a kid I didn't really know what an anime was so I'd probably say Yu-gi-oh since it was the only one I watched.

1: N/A You mean currently airing right? In that case I`m not watching anything at the moment so...

2: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

I love FMA Brotherhood. Great characters, great art, great story, great action and even episodes that make me cry

3. Pokemon

Did anybody here even not watch this as a kid? It was awesome back then, still awesome to watch today actually. I loved how cute Pikachu was in the first season

I meant one that you are watching these days, old or new.

Current - Hrm...this is tough, since I watch a lot of seasonal shows, and not many long-running ones anymore. My answer is probably Shokugeki no Souma or Gintama, even though neither are airing right now. Can't forget Jojo's Bizarre Adventure either.

All-time - This is tough. I'll probably think of something else later, but Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Toradora, and Hunter x Hunter are all shows I look fondly on long after they've ended, and can only pick out a few actual flaws in any of them. I have plenty of other anime I might care more about at the time, but these three really remain strong for me.

Kid - Dragonball Z or Naruto probably.

Current and all-time favorite is FMA: Brotherhood. I haven't watched many animes when I was a child, but I'll say Avatar: the last airbender is the closest thing to an anime I've truly adored. I just love compelling characters, great lore and an epic journey that pushes the heroes resolve to the max. And of course they were beautifully animated. Both are 10/10!
