The thing is, I am pretty sure at least half of the negative ones were unwarranted. The game was a solid 72, not a solid 62...

Both have clickbait. To think the negative ones weren't sounds stupid...

So your opinion warranting it 72 is what counts? Ok.

40 to 63 is a 23 deviation. 63 to 90 is a 27 deviation. So which one would be more evident of clickbait? Even more when the game is considered mixed to bad by most reviewers (and 40 would enter on the bad) while 90 is very good grade? And I don't consider myself stupid, but maybe I sound stupid, who knows.

No, it's what I know from reading the 6 bad reviews...

OK, so if you think only the 6 bad reviews are out of what is reasonable more power to you.

Bro, I read all six of them. Three are clickbait...

56K in its first week though...

He should accept all reviews.

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Agreed. Even if I don't agree with them, an opinion is an opinion.

And the 90+ isn't?

How can you bait with positives?

You can even say it can be trolling with positive aspects because you are being so positive that it's fake.

You can click bait with a positive score, but it's not nearly as effective as a negative score. I used to write for a website where this tactic was commonly used. This was before Metacritic's time, but our scores were on GameRankings and affected the scores of many games.

Never personally partook in that, but was accused of it a couple times due to low scores.
