Those are good numbers, as more money rolling around the industry is exactly what the industry needs. Even if it is EA that cashed in.

Indeed. It's also one of those games that sells video games (and consoles) to people who don't consider themselves gamers.

A gap very few titles can bridge. Gran Turismo is one of the others that springs to mind.
