The New Day keep losing, I think this old story of the title chaser has been reused too often, they've been doing it since at least the 1990s - and to be honest, probably decades before that.

People want to see them win championships, and it's far too long since they've held any. Yet, there is a good story coming out of that match:
For starters, it was actually a great match until being spoiled by the end; on a technical level, it was probably one of the best matches of the night. That's not the biggest thing, the biggest thing was Big E's booking, they had him throwing the Bludgeon Brothers around, and going toe-to-toe with the two of them. Usually, WWE doesn't make wrestlers look this strong without a plan in the works... Best case scenario: Miz takes the belt off of AJ fairly soon, then he feuds with Bryan for the rest of the year before Big E wins a Wrestlemania shot.

Anyway, to be fair on the match with the New Day vs. Bludgeons - it was a great match until it was spoiled at the end.

Uh, what? They literally just won a tournament without losing a single match and only lost out on the titles due to a DQ. They do not lose all that often and are the longest reigning tag champs I think ever...virtually nothing about your assessment in this post rings true.

Let me clarify, the New Day keep losing TITLE matches =)
I thought that was clear by my next paragraph, I guess not.

Sorry, no speak English =P

Ouch! It looks like Brie just injured Liv Morgan by kicking her hard in the face with a yes kick.

Here's the kick to the head I mentioned earlier... more like a knee.

And here's some more Brie botches.

Three big botches in 3 weeks. Brie Bella should have stayed retired because she is horrible in the ring.
- Botched 2 suicide dives
- Botched the finish in the match with Maryse
- This botch

I am sure the reason Brie is back is due to the upcoming Evolution PPV and she likely came back on short notice without any time to work off an obviously large amount of ring rust.

They confirmed last night that Live Morgan has a concussion. Hopefully, it isn't a serious one and she'll be back soon. I really like the crazy troublemaker gimmick of the Riott Squad.

Interesting stuff going on with WWE right now.

• WWE and Impact Wrestling are now business partners. The current deals revolve around licensing content between the two, but it could end up with Impact having a WWE network show.
• WWE is under gigantic pressure to cancel Crown Jewel right now due to the high profile Khashoggi assassination - although, to be fair to WWE fans, the pressure was high during the first event due to the War in Yemen - and American WWE fans are among the first I have seen from the US to actually express widespread criticism against the MBS regime. I’m on the side of cancelling, someone had a great response to JBL’s “It’s good to open up Saudi Arabia to Western culture” by pointing out that Saudi Arabia has been open to certain elements to Western culture for decades, but that the bits WWE bring to the table are not new and not helping - since WWE excludes their entire women’s roster and also do propaganda for the MBS regime.
• Becky Lynch and Samoa Joe is the primary heels on Smackdown... and she gets cheers to rival the New Day - who are the biggest baby faces in the whole company.
• After years of waiting, NXT UK finally has a show. And if you haven’t been watching NXT, it is unique and fantastic.
• Evolution, the first women’s PPV - IMO, not the best idea in the world - I think the women’s division would be better served by having a Rousey vs Charlotte Flair main event at Wrestlemania - it would be interesting to have Charlotte be the one to screw Rousey out of her title sometime before the Royal Rumble. Another better option would be women’s tag team gold... There are FOUR main championships, but no IC and no tag team; and 2/3rds of the matches in the women’s division are tag team.
