The Gears Bundle isn't holding well and I can't see anything other than 'extra incentives' boosting it back up again.

That is strange. People who purchase the Gears Bundle now  will still be ble to play the game early than other people. It should be higher in the ranks.

If you're desperate to play it two days before the normal release date why  would you want to buy it from Amazon? At best, it would reach your home next day and that's if you paid premium for shipping. And you still need to update the system and install the game which will take long for Xbox. Actually it isn't strange, it make sense.

So both "flagship" slim bundles are sold out on Amazon, The Uncharted 4 slim and the Halo 5/MCC bundle, Could be Amazon are holding off the stock to sell all other stock before the new big shooter bundles arrive and pushing people towards the Pro pre-order.
