I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Already posted what I want. Here's what I would do if I were Nintendo...

1. Keep the NX as powerful as a PS4, but keep the price point at $250. This can be done easily, since it has been three years since the PS4 launched. This will make the NX beat the Scorpio/Pro in pricing, the same way the Wii beat the 360/PS3.

2. Make the NX backwards compatible with 3DS, and DS. This shouldn't be too hard since the NX is supposed to be using the same cart technology. This will make it even easier for people to afford an NX. It will also flood the market with used 3DS systems, which will make Nintendo gain customers that buy used 3DS systems, boosting the sales of 3DS games.

3. Get steam running on the NX. Nintendo's third party problem would go away overnight. Not to mention, a portable steam machine would have massive appeal.

4. Put the Virtual console on steam. This would help people rediscover Nintendo games, and generate revenue. A PC gamer that falls in love with the VC games may eventually buy an NX just to have a portable steam machine, and Nintendo exclusives.

5. Pump out four AAA exclusives a year for the NX. Better library = more sales.

6. Make sure that the controller is comfortable for everyone. A lot of people simply do not like Nintendo's controllers. They feel cramped, and made for children.

7. NO GIMMICKS! Gimmicks just drive the price of a console up. We don't need 3D, motion controls, or a tablet controller.

1.) I'd like to have at least 1 TFLOP performance (XBox One level) at home. Whether that's through "home mode" higher performance (via a fan in the dock) or some kind of entire SCD patent thing, I really don't give a crap, just don't want to wait 5-6 years to play Nintendo games in XB1/PS4 ball park performance.

2.) No bullshit Virtual Console. I don't want to wait 3-4 years *again* for a decent selection of VC games, should be a good selection of games day 1 from third parties also, and most big classic titles (Super Mario 3, Super Mario 64, Zelda: OoT, Zelda: LttP, Punch-Out!, Final Fantasy VI, Super Metroid, DKC 1/2, Super Mario Kart, Star Fox 64, Ninja Gaiden, Sonic 2/3, Megaman 2/3, Super Contra, etc.) available in under a year please.

3.) OS that isn't slower and clunkier than a 90s PC.

The dissapointing thing ... the above is a pretty low bar, and Nintendo likely won't even meet that (or probably 90% of the things being asked for in this thread). Tis the life of a Nintendo fan.

1: A powerful ARM based micro console that uses small cartridges.

2: A standard controller based on the gamecube design for Smash players.

3: $199 price point.

Not interested in the hybrid design at all, but will buy it if necessary. Just make two separate pieces of hardware Nintendo, a micro console and a dedicated handheld that play from the same cartridge.

Hey! They got SONY on my amiibo! Wait a minute. Two great gaming tastes that game great together!

I want more zelda

3DS and new 3DS compatibility with upscaling and output to 3D televisions or VR visor
AMD Zen architecture rather than nvidia
micro sd slot upto 128GB

plus

Analogue shoulder buttons
Corning gorilla glass
Non childish design

-Achievements
-Cross buy functionality where possible with whatever devices the NX covers
-Decent Online store, just copy paste from MS or Sony right now, add a Nintendo Gold / + option and offer 2 free games per month for NX/3DS

Can I add a side feature of it not having a terrible name? Don't want to be embarrassed when someone asks what I spent my weekend doing, "wii'ing wasn't a fun activity"
