Based on my current eighth gen library, I own more games that I owned a version of from last gen or are remastered or backwards compatible than i own this gen. It's a damn shame when I look at my ps4/XBO collection.

I just looked at my sig. Jesus Christ, it's worse than I thought.

I did have a Wii for gen 7, but once gen 8 came so did my kids and it also made me a console gamer again instead of PC gamer (which is hard to be with kids)

So for me it has to be gen 8.. but largely due to having missed out on gen 7.

I don't agree; of the gens I've lived through, (4th to present) the 6th ranks second lowest to me, with only the 8th below it.

Gen 7, but not for the reasons mentioned above - I just had more time on my hands.

Xbox360, that gears, halo and fable feel was just so amazing and I remember booting up oblivion for the first time, this gen deff hasn't had me as excited yet, obviously I have been enjoying it but I hope it gets better.

Yup.

The least enticing gen ever is the one we're in.
