Red Dead Redemption for fidelity and physics? The game ran at 640p native on PS3 while the other two games ran at 720p and the physics were really bad. The animations were terrible compared to Infamous and GTA V running on the same engine has better physics. GTA V also has a much larger scale to its environments than Red Dead Redemption, both in terms of vertical and size of the map. Ifamous had an entire varied city. Red Dead Redemption's map was mostly empty and in the cities the framerate was awful while Infamous 2 had no framerate issues and destructible environments.

Uhuhuh, it was good, but nowhere near THAT good. The special effects were pretty awesome, though. I would give the title to IF2 and GTAV. |
They are I played them recently and Infamous 2 looks nearly as good, not that good anti aliasing but the detail is on that level and it has all these other things that I said too. I say it is more impressive than Uncharted 2.

This pic doesn't say a lot :P
What we're seeing here is an empty world with very detailed cars but no NPC's and simple geography. The lighting is really good though but I don't think it comes close to Infamous 2 and GTA V.

The lighting of NFS impressed me more than Infamous 2's, and it has a better framerate than GTA 5.

Yes the lighting of NFS MW is impressive but Infamous 2 has lots of NPC's, amazing special effects, destructible environments and huge boss battles. GTA V does have framerate issues on PS3 but it does so much more than NFS MW while still being very detailed.

Go and play Infamous games :P

I need to get them :(
I guess I'll get the Collection sometime in the future (unless Sony decides to bring it over to PS4). |
I don't think they'll port it now so you should play them on PS3 as soon as you can xD
They are some of the best open world games I've palyed. Till then play God of War 3 and Ascension :P

Red Dead Redemptions graphics were pretty bad on PS3 I really enjoyed the game, but boy was it a blurry mess just a few meters off in the distance and quite often you needed to aim at pixel goo in the distance and ofcourse the framerate was so-so at best aswell Infamous 2 was a lot better graphically, especially in terms of image quality and performance |
Red Dead was a bit blurry yes, and Xbox360 version was a bit clearer.
But artistically they were good graifx plus it felt so good to be in the desert. So my "most appreciated" open world grafix on PS3 I could say.
GTA V for sure. But damn Red Dead Redemption is pretty, as is Sleeping Dogs.

Infamous 2 seems more demanding from a CPU point of view, but I still reckon NFS was nicer to look at, with higher quality assets and a more consistent level of polish. GTA 5 and NFS would be neck and neck if they ran at a similar framerate, and again GTA is more CPU-intensive, but in the end I just feel the framerate dips in GTA 5 take some of the shine off its otherwise very impressive graphics, making NFS the better looking visual package overall.
GTA5. Also, such a amazing game, what a experience
