Forums - General Discussion - Do you buy a product that was made in your country or made by a company that is from your country?

If our product is as good as the others, then yes.

If its at least on par with the competition then ok.

If it wasn't for that little mishap in the 40s I wouldn't even have to choose.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Yes, the product is called "food". Not all i buy is made in my country, but a lot.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

To the OP at hand, I buy the best product available, be it national or international.I mean, price factors in, but outside of that, I go for quality, not for a country.

United States.... Of America.

Does that mean you'll buy Alien colonial marines or Duke nukem forever over Metal gear solid or Gran turismo because one is an american product and the others are Japanese? Seems ridiculous to me.

Quality and price decides everything I buy, where the product/service/whatever was made is irrelevant to me.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

Well, since it seems most products are made in either Mexico or China, it's tough find most things that i buy, being made in America. I'd love to support my country, but the tax breaks this companies get, for making their products outside of the USA, you can't blame them for doing it.

As a general rule; no, I don't. Not out of spite but mostly because goods produced at home are insanely expensive due to salary costs, transports and abnormally high taxation across the board.

So you're that guy, eh?

Lol.It may seem a silly thing, but we are in an international forum.I personally think its best to be the most precise you can, because not everyone here is fluent on English, and they might not always understand the references.
