Making all Xbox games on PC they are definitely encouraging PC gaming that is the way I look at it.

Lies obviously. It's clear that they're want console gamers to move to PC and then ditch the Xbox consoles in the long run. Why else give away free copies of PC games?

Pretty sure it's actually just to make money. It's just that partway through, Microsoft remembered that they already had a gaming platform. 

So they can have 1 ecosystem regardless of whether you're gaming on console, PC, Tablet, phone etc (universal windows applications). They're giving away W10 versions for free because Windows 10 & its store needs to be sold as a gaming platform. It's not like theyre giving away steam copies. 

They're doing a bad job with me and my friends then.

They are not encouraging Xbox owners to go to PC but they are encouraging PC gamers to not buy an Xbox.

I would have bought a XB1 for Forza Horizon games but with 3 being on PC and with free online and better graphics I didn't buy an XB1. I still want to paly 2 but XB1 isn't worth buying for just one game.

The good thing is, they probably won't have to sell you a subsidized console and incurr a loss, so they probably gonna get a bigger margin of profit on your purchase on the Xbox app on PC. Win.

However, whenever MS announced play anywhere at E3, everyone here had a Quantum computer and was gonna buy Xbox games on PC just to show that Xbox games aren't "exclusive" to one hardware anymore. We all know how that is going with FH3, a handful probably bought it on PC.

I would have bought some other XB1 games too if I had it like Halo 5 and Forza Motorsport 6. Those aren't console sellers for me but they would be worth buying on a system I own. If XB1 had one more console seller I would have bought it. I'm still tempted xD

People here are saying that having Microsoft games on XB1 and PC gives them a choice to play the better version on PC, not that they are necessarily interested in a game and have a good PC. But I get your point, some people can't rise above the console wars bullshit, when it should be about the games. I don't even think many people care about racing games here.

I haven't played Forza Horizon 3 as I want to play 2 first. Still hoping for them to release 2 on PC but if XB1 goes on a huge sale here which it usually doesn't I will get it. But I can only wait for a few months else I'll upgrade my PC to play it on high settings. Should be a huge improvement in quality over the original which is the only one I've played and it was one of the best racing games last generation for me.
