Double ungood? Is that a double negative? So you`re trying to say that Nintendo haters are good?

"It's a beautiful thing, the Destruction of words. Of course the great wastage is in the verbs and adjectives, but there are hundreds of nouns that can be got rid of as well. It isn't only the synonyms; there are also the antonyms. After all, what justification is there for a word, which is simply the opposite of some other word? A word contains its opposite in itself. Take ‘good,’ for instance. If you have a word like ‘good,’ what need is there for a word like ‘bad’? ‘Ungood’ will do just as well – better, because it's an exact opposite, which the other is not. Or again, if you want a stronger version of ‘good,’ what sense is there in having a whole string of vague useless words like ‘excellent’ and ‘splendid’ and all the rest of them? ‘Plusgood’ covers the meaning or ‘doubleplusgood’ if you want something stronger still. Of course we use those forms already, but in the final version of Newspeak there'll be nothing else. In the end the whole notion of goodness and badness will be covered by only six words – in reality, only one word. Don't you see the beauty of that, Winston? It was B.B.'s idea originally, of course," he added as an afterthought."

I'd wager there are as many retarded and misinformed haters as there are retarded and misinfomed fans. You rarely acknowledge those though because they're on your side.

Not liking a certain company is not a special breed. Rabid haters are in no way different from rabid fans.

There, I said it.

This is thread?? This is thread.

It's because Nintendo games are unbridled bundles of joy and the company is humble, soft spoken and almost entirely free of bravado. So when people pick on them, it feels like a bully picking on a child. It's like, what the hell did Nintendo do to warrant so much hate? They're just making games to bring joy to the world and turn a profit while doing so. It just seems so unnecessary to most people.

Hate only breeds more hate :(

Because Nintendo games are somewhat different to the gaming mainstream (PC, PS, XB, which have mostly - but not always - similar games). Some people feel insecure about what they like, if another relevant group is liking something different they feel threatened.

Yes Reggie calling PS4 and XB1 launch lineup as meh and Miyamoto saying games on other platforms all look the same is them being humble and soft spoken. Also their treatment of third parties during NES and SNES times was sooooo humble.

They aren't making games to bring joy to people, its purely for profits like every other company. If they wanted to bring joy they would have cut the price of their games and made their consoles available in more countries. Don't treat them like angels, they are not.
