The moderator was fustrated because Trump didn't answer any damn questions.  She answered questions and he constantly interupted her.  Then when it was his trun he didn't answer questions.  Standards.  We have to have a standard for him that he needs to meet.   Like "Okay you want to be president so what is your plan.... no I asked you what your plan was.... Please answer the damn question"

they should both answer questions from an unbiased moderator-   I agree with your frustration -  neither candidate said much of substance- but to be honest, lowest common denominator politics won t  change until the electorate:  really educates itself on how the political system works and demands actual change in areas like campaign reform and term limits (for house and senate),  quits reacting based on emotion and quits putting most energy into 1 or 2 issues important to only themself- but not nec the rest the country

Why do you feel that the moderator was biased?  I thought he was too nice on both of them.  Trump didn't need to deny the Iraq war statement that he did in fact make.  That was a softball question because he was a private citizen when he made the statement: end of story.  But he keep lying because he hadn't prepared for the question.  Hillary got the hardest question of the night about her emails but she didn't get defensive, accepted responsibility for her mistake, and was able to wrap it up really quickly.  She was prepared.

 Watch it on FOX

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubp0CEbqW-U

Who´s watching?

What better place to talk about it than here in Vgchartz. home of the coolest gamers in the Earth, our very own VGbuddies.

So, if you´re watching, give us your impressions.

Edit: 2h38min to go.

Edit: 40min to go.

Edit: 1h38min to go.

Edit: 15 minutes to go!

Edit: IT IS LIVE RIGHT NOW!

Edit: It is over. It was pretty fun, both of them did good. I am surprised about Hillary stamina, she did well controlling her illness, some shakes here and there but overall she seems under control.

Trump was very good also, some very decent answers.

Very fun overall, I pray to God that the best for America wins.

Hillary SMASHED Trum what a beating!!

(from a independant btw)

She pretty much diffused the whole thing without incident. She admitted it was on her and that was the end of it. If Trump was asked a question like that he would have blamed everyone but himself, told flat out lies,  or not even answered the question and turned the whole thing into a fiasco. It seems like he has no skills when it comes to diffusing a situation.

he did not ask Hilary about emails, Bengahzi (sp),  Clinton Foundation-  he did not ask her any follow ups on her "hot spot issues)  -  He asked Trump several follow ups on his-  He had several "Candy Crowley moments"  as they related to Trump- none re Hillary

Online polls are a joke. Idk why news outlets report on them. Reddit and 4chan just screw all of them. Like the one's last night about the debate.
http://www.dailydot.com/layer8/trump-clinton-debate-online-polls-4chan-the-donald/

Trump did way better than I expected him to the first 20-30 minutes. After that it was the Hillary Clinton show featuring Donald Denying Trump. Hillary or the moderator would state a public quote he made and he would constantly intrerrupt with "no i never said that. not true" etc. It was embarrassing. It was counted that he interrupted Clinton and the moderator around 60 times.
Clinton simply looked poised and prepared for anything. Her main goal was to clearly upset Trump and make him look dumb. Which she did well. Trump looked so lost and flustered in the final 25min of the debate. It was hard to watch him fail that hard.

Question:  what is 4chan and why are they at the center of all negative things?

4chan is where the trolls of the internet hide.  Everyone on that site is called "anonymous" and the site has existed for over a decade.

There is nothing left to ask about Benghazi.  Anyone who blames Clinton for it is just ignorant.  Same about her emails.  She apologized, was cleared, now move on.  Trump got his shot in about it at the debate.  Bringing it back up over an over is just insulting to viewers.   I don't even know what they'd ask about Clinton foundation.  Thats the new republican tin foil hat conspiracy argument against Clinton.
Trump is newer to politics.  The topics against him were not much talked about in his primary debates.  If Trump was any good at debating he'd know how to address them properly.  Instead he kinda flopped.   He actually tried to make himself look good when bashing Obama for months about his birth certificate.  Entertaining stuff.
Trump saying it makes him smart to not pay federal taxes was the dumbest thing he said all night.   Doesn' that imply the people that do pay federal taxes are dumb?

He did ask about emails.  Like in reality.   So I refuse to argue that.  Bengahzi?  No one cares.  Four years ago Obama was asked about that at the debates.  Let it effing die.   I feel that they should have brought up the Clinton Foundation so I agree on that point because even without going to conspiricy theories what are her plans for the orgization once she is president?  Will she keep accepting donations?  She has to step down at  the very least.   There are so many things that the moderator could have gotten Donald on because he has supplied so much ammunition.  You have to understand how easy Donald had it.  All he had to do was answer the questions.  I agree with your point that Hilary's answers might not be true, but at least she had enough respect to answer the damn questions.  This is so basic.  It was so childish.  He needs to be prepared, calm and focused.  Have answers to easy questions and don't get defensive when there is no reason to.

And its just about ammunition, its about clarification. He rarely actually discusses his policy plans in detail. If I were moderator I'd want to hear detailed plans and would be asking about them constantly. Hillary would be able to answer those questions.

unfortunately Trump over estimated the intelligence of some of the electorate by saying he was smart to not pay federal taxes-  He should have added that virtually no pays taxes they don t owe and wealthy people/companies use people called accountants and tax attorneys to use the massive tax code to their best advantage-  he was not accused of failing to pay federal yaxes he owed-   thus he is "smart" to opperate his business and invstments for min tax exposure like everyone else-  he just happens to be better at it than most

the debate was watched by 80 million+- people  apparently 1/3 of voters are undecided (how i will never know) but The electorate does need to hear from Hillary on those issues-  Trump addressed his previously too-  double standard much?  She created real issues of national security that may yet harm our country further-  There is much more for her to answer about the Clinton Foundation too- As Mrs William Jefferson Clinton she should answer the many many questions about it like pay for play and why they have accepted tens of miliions of dollars from countries like Saudi Arabia and other middle eastern countries whose legal system/theocracy's  treat women as property of their husbands and whose human rights records toward women and gays are atrocious-  then there is China - given the Clinton foundation millions- terrible human rights record-   Don t be so dismisive of very real issues-

Actually that would not be a good answer in my opinion.  During the primaries, Trump touted getting rid of loopholes that allow Fund Managers to make millions and pay less tax then someone on welfare.  Saying that you took every possible angle to pay no taxes and not give back in some way would actually sound just as bad.  Instead his best answer would be that he did take every advantage, that he knows how the system award the rich and that as president plans to remove those loopholes so that no matter what your status is you pay your fair share of taxes like the rest of us.  This would have gotten him some applause because then even if his taxes show he paid nothing, he has come out and stated he will change this type of loopholes for the rich.

One of Trumps biggest problems is that he doesn't pay any taxes and from what we have found out about his Trump Foundation he doesn't give any money back from his own coffers to charity.  This looks bad because it has the appears that he only takes and never gives back what he has earned to support anything unless it advances his personal interest.

As for the emails, every person in government make mistakes including just the regular people.  The past is the past and the question is has the person learned from that mistake.  It seems Hillary turned a corner last night.  Stop giving excuses, stop blaming other people about your decisions, own up to it, take responsibility and move on.  If she had done this a long time ago, we would not be still arguing the issue.  Yes, having the private server was a security risk but let’s be honest, since a crap load of politician do the same are you condemning them as well.

As for the Clinton Foundation, yes there is definitely some pay to play areas that I believe will be brought up within the next 2 debates but then again Trump Foundation also has some pay to play going on as well so it should be interesting to delve into both those conflict of interest.  I am really interested in hearing how Hillary and Trump will remove any and all family from those interest including Trump Organization.  Trump has said that he will put Trump organization in a blind trust but it cannot be a blind trust if his son and daughter is running the business.  The same thing for the Clinton Foundation.  Hillary daughter cannot run the foundation if her mom is president even though they have stated they will not accept any foreign donations.  As we know, those foreign donations can just be funneled through other means like the Uranium situation.

Not to mention Lester WAS biased! Asking Trump even though there was a lot of controversial stuff to ask Hillary... A non biased moderator would've asked Trump about birtherism before asking Hillary on her email server...
