Trump is arrogant, condescending attitude towards Ms Clinton and the moderator was terrible to watch. Trump repeats lies, propaganda and insults his opponents. Trump rarely answers the questions and interrupts his opponent and moderator. He is not Presidential material and if elected he will become the worst US President of all time. Hopefully there are more educated Americans, women voters, minority groups that will vote Clinton in as President. Trump has his vocal fan base: Christian evangelicals and uneducated rednecks from the Southern states.

In his defense, the mod was biased and so was the audience...

"Bigly is not a word! Lol!"

I hope the Clinton supporters have a dictionary nearby... Or clean their ears...

getting emotional clouds your judgement and amplifies your ignorance-        You may need to find the "safe space" in your area and start coloring book therapy asap-

Are you saying women voters and minority groups are not in the same group as educated Americans?

Isn t it MRS William J Clinton  or did she divorce without telling us?  She has "stood by her man" no matter how many (or how public)  bimbo erutions he has had-  But then again were would she be  w out old Bill C?

I think the part of the debate I didn't like was where Trump took over and started actively questioning Clinton in a combative tone like he was the moderator. The real one should have silenced him there. He really didn't cut a presidential figure at that part of the debate.

American voters can be educated women of various cultural back grounds. The fan base of Ms Clinton appear to be more representative of American society.

I agree. When he was constantly interrupting Hillary Clinton and the moderator, I wanted the moderator to tell him to shut up and let her speak. That's how annoying it was to me.

considering Trump was having to debate Hillary and the moderator he did pretty well- but more importantly Hillary did nothing to gain votes- she seemed to approach the debate as if she was 20 pts a ahead in the polls but she is either tied or behind and that did not appear to change post debate

The moderator was fustrated because Trump didn't answer any damn questions.  She answered questions and he constantly interupted her.  Then when it was his trun he didn't answer questions.  Standards.  We have to have a standard for him that he needs to meet.   Like "Okay you want to be president so what is your plan.... no I asked you what your plan was.... Please answer the damn question"

you how many times my wife shouted at the screen, answer the damn question.  I really get tired of people throwing the bias word around.  Trump could have answered many questions and came out on top but he was not prepared.  He gassed out after 20 mins then from there, he let Hillary dictate his behavior.

All week we heard how Trump team was preparing for the debate then when he gets there you can tell he did nothing.  Next his campaign manager says Trump was out there seeing the people instead of preparing for the debate and expect people to just accept this excuse.  He knew the debate schedule and he knew what it meant.  He decided to wing it and got owned so hopefully his team actually prepare next time instead of believing the public will continue to feel sorry for him because he isn’t a politician running for a political job.

While I agree with most of Trump's policies I think he is unintelligent, rude, has an unstable personality and is unfit for the presidency. On the other hand he has shaken up American and world politics in a very positive way and if he became the US president he would make the world more exciting and the future less predictable (which from a conservative's perspective in 2016 is good).

Also, despite his unpredictable and heated temperament in media I don't think he would be dangerous for the world's security, because he would take on a more mature role once he would become responsible for his actions and the political establishment is so strong and would work against and mitigate any crazy policies he would try to implement.

Hillary Clinton won the debate. She comes off as professional and experienced. Meanwhile Trump is rhetorically weak, he's not charismatic and his personality is not pleasant. Further, he is out of touch with people, he doesn't seem to understand that he comes off as rude and unfomfortable, especially when he interrupts and boasts about himself. He's just lacking in intelligence.

The moderatur was not good. He allowed Trump to talk for too long and interrupt Clinton too much. In the campaigns and the democratic and repbulican debates Fox News has been the best, most disciplined moderator.

The good thing about Trump is that he has opened up a new dimension in American politics that hopefully someone in the future can utilize. He has turned the agenda in a more conservative direction. All of a sudden it's normal to be critical against the establishment, against media and political correctness, and Trump'ss criticism against immigration and islamism has been confident, has felt natural and inspiring. These things are good. The bad thing is that these policies are associated with the rude and selfish persona of Donald Trump.

I hope we get a close election where Hillary wins with a tiny margin. I hope that she is regarded as a president with a weak mandate and that she has to work against a highly resistant congress and a sceptical American populace who will remain very critical and suspicuous of her during her entire presidency. Therefore she would be unable to implement anything drastic.

And I hope that Trump's surprising success has increased general awareness and inspired the Republican party and future aspiring politicians to bring up the issues of political correctness, immigration and battle for freedom of speech as important policies on the political agenda for the future.

they should both answer questions from an unbiased moderator-   I agree with your frustration -  neither candidate said much of substance- but to be honest, lowest common denominator politics won t  change until the electorate:  really educates itself on how the political system works and demands actual change in areas like campaign reform and term limits (for house and senate),  quits reacting based on emotion and quits putting most energy into 1 or 2 issues important to only themself- but not nec the rest the country

The moderator Lester Holt is a registered republican though.
