I think they're on the path right now. The fact that their consoles are one upping Sony is probably the first step.

To be fair Xbox one S only has UHD bluray over PS4. For many people that doesn't mean anything. However PS4 still has a ton of one ups over the xbox one that people seem to forget(?)

Im pretty sure that only xbox fans are the ones to forget. I still remember the good old days of ps4 has no games. LIST WAR!!!

They will have to take their time. They lost this gen no matter what. They can start building their library outside of their 3 core titles. I know they have ventured into new titles like recore, quantum brake, sunset overdrive and a few other with pretty bad failure, but they have to eat thouse losses and keep building ips so the xbox becomes a more apealing brand outside of the dude bros in america. By next gen of course. All Im saying they have to give thouse failed ips they gave a try to a second chance, even if they fail again and make new ips.

Isn't Wii U still ahead off PS4 in Japan? I'm sure its close now, but even in Japan, PS4 isn't really tearing the house down.

No console is "tearing anything down" in Japan. So that's not saying anything. It just so happens that the X1 is doing as bad as a home console has done there in a long time.

Recently the PS4 has been doing that in japan.

Exactly, Japan is irrelevant in the console wars now. They've gone to mobile gaming and I heard arcade games are still popular there. Only places that really matter is  North America, UK and a few other european countries like Germany. As long as Microsoft still has a foot hold in North America and UK, xbox one will be relevant. End of story.

Pretty much this.

It's a funny topic really.  I would be more concerned if I was Sony.  The long term money isn't in any console business.  It's in content distribution.  That is where MS is aiming with Win10/Xbox.  Sony has what, 30 million-40 Million install base?  MS has a quarter Billion and counting every second.  Selling the most losss leading consoles isn't much of an achievement for anyone anymore.  Sony is making the short term cash on the PS4 for sure.  What sony has that is more valuable will be its well managed IPs.  Some day, they will be worth atleast 1/4 of nintendos and probably 2-3 times microsofts core(excluding Minecraft) xbox titles.

It is near the end of the end....

You put too much faith in bluray movies.

Lets just ignore where it matters. The games. The fact that MS have made all their games available on PC too is actually them undercutting themselves. Good for MS bad for Xbox.

You are wrong on so many levels and I can't even or rather don't have the strenght to say em all.

There will always be a market for consoles. and that market will always be larger than the PC market with regard to game sales simply because of pricr and simplicity. It's been happenning for 25yrs+. it's not going to stop now simply because u can download games.

Anyways, keep telling yourself whatever you seem to be telling yourself.

What is "Xbox One is dead outside of US" based on? We'd know if the OP had more content. As it reads currently, the thread just doesn't seem to have much to justify itself aside from a very vague blanket statement. If the OP would like to re-create the thread with a more focused premise, he is more than free to do so, but as for right now I'm going to have to lock this.
