If I could speak to them I guess be curious as to motivations and what their reality is like and how they are certain it is not a nested simulation.

In terms to our response a simulation would make me wonder if we'd be able to manipulate it given this knowledge. Not being limited by the light barrier for speed for example opens all sorts of possibilities.

That's the direction of most religions, anyway, even if people don't recognize it as that. See George Berkeley, Bishop of Cloyne, who argued that matter does not exist and that we are basically figments of god's imagination.

The concept is strange, to why we were created? Who could fathom, maybe just an experiment to see how AIs grow independently away from already existing knowledge.

Maybe he (god) gets bored or loney? just like us.

Imagine exsisting as one of the only being, anywhere.  Your just sitting around.... you know everything (of nature), the only thing you cant really know, is how another "being" capable of independant thought, would act.

That would be incredibily lureing.

Youd want to be able to observe something that you wouldnt know how will act, simply for the enjoyment of such.

Basically Entertainment.

My life would start to feel a bit like a Lovecraft story, I would slowly lose my mental sanity little by little as I would get completely obsessed about it and feel like I can do nothing against it.

If I had a way to communicate with the administrators I would ask them how to get out of the simulation asap.
