PES has been back since PES 15, where have u been

Thats because PES14 was crap. The new gameplay, engine and animations have been introduced in PES15.

All PES since PES6 to PES14 have been crap

Try the demo of PES17 and see how awful and boring Fifa is compared to it.

As a review said, losing in PES is more fun than winning in Fifa LMAO!

I played FIFA15 recently. Lobbed throughballs and fast runners won me most games. It was a broken mess.

Every online match was plagued with lobbed throughballs from both sides, it was funny. I even made a thread asking people; IS FIFA15 A GOOD GAME? and my suspicions were confirmed, the game is broken. I tried FIFA16 demo just to see if they addressed the issue, and as expected, they did but I didn't buy the full game, I was completely put off by FIFA15.

I love football outside of gaming and Fifa simply offers more. And better online I've heard. I tried PES demo and it was good but so was Fifa16. I bought Fifa17 and have been playing ultimate team on early access and it feels ok. Of course they'll patch the hell out of it so it's too early to tell how it'll play in the end.

@LurkerJ I agree Fifa15 was horrible, lobbed throughballs and players with pace 24/7 but Fifa16 and 17 are nothing like it. I'd recommend trying them.

PES 2017 is Amazing! not already at the level of pes2016 in termes of online quality since it is in its early state but there are still room of emprovement.  Real Touch is a little bit wierd to get used to but after a dozen of matches it feels great! Myclub also got lots of improvement and I always love the fact that you can get all the good players just by playing well, not like the "Pay to have good players " Fifa Ultimate team lol. And Guess what I got CR7(actually the best CF in the game with 93 rating) with the first pack PES Agent! lol, I don't know if it was luck but I do think the fact that I have played Pes myClub since it launchs in 2014 with pes2015 has something to do with it lol

Nope I'm going to use all 10 hours to play FUT since I love that mode, I play it like a role-playing football game hehe. I'm looking forward to playing The Journey though, it looks it has potential and I think you get Alex Hunter card for FUT after completing it.

@nanzano you don't have to pay to have good players for FUT, many people get lots of coins by trading and this year you can do squad building challenges to get packs and players. Risk and reward of course. I don't have time to trade much though so I'll just throw some money at EA and hope I pack a valuable player :P

Switched to PES last year, never liked it when I tried it several years ago, but I gave PES 16 a go and it's gameplay is far FAR better than Fifa now.

PES 16 was phenomenal.

They went the other way with FIFA 16, players are so slow, not even the fastest strikers can outrun center backs with 40 pace. They also added the completely overpowered training mechanic in career mode, with this you can find youth players and train them to be 90+ in one season and sell them for tens of millions. I tried once to see how much I could make by doing this, I had four goalies in my youth academy, trained all of them to 90-91 in two seaons, sold them for a combined total of around 300 million euros.

OT: I bought PES 2017 for PS4, buying FIFA 17 for PC tomorrow. With the licensing mods, PES will easily be the better game all in all, the gameplay and physics are head and shoulders above FIFA as of the last two installments.

That is the problem, you needs too much time to get them and that is only valide for gold Players, Gold-black and blue player card are Hella dificult to get without spending lot of money, and some youtubers even spend more than 50K$ to get them lol. In PES myClub you get player at the gold state and level them up to be at the blue pack level(which level 50)so  nothing to pay there lol, and to level up very fast you can now buy lot of myClub coins with real money to get players that will be converted as traning items in order to level them up.

This is not true :) Pace is less effective yes but fast players still outrun slower defenders. Defendes have better positioning though so you'll need to pass around a little to create space for running and also have a player with enough strenght and balance to shrug off defenders.

That sounds good actually and maybe next year I'll give it a shot. It's just that I play on X1 and I've read there isn't many people playing and online overall is not as good as Fifa. Hopefully sales pick up on Xbox too. PES might be a better offline experience but I want to play against another player.

I do like it that the best special cards are rare in FUT. Would be a pain to face TOTY Ronaldos and Aubameyangs in every match :D
