Don't understand the GB inspired games. Are there really anyone that misses platformers that plays like it was on a GB?

It's just really nostalgic. I miss gameboy games in general. They were simple little games that you played during downtime that had great production values. I don't think we have enough Gameboy inspired games.

Really? If Nintendo decided to make another 2D Metroid, would you want it in SNES style or GB style?

There's an audience for these types of games so its obvious that there will be devs who will make games like this.

Nostalgia plays a factor in it of course.

I dont think they expect millions of people to go at it - highly doubt the budget is that much for a game like this.

Fair enough. I just dont get it. It doesnt look like it plays very well unlike games that are inspired by the NES. Mega Man 9-10, Shovel Knight, The Binding Of Isaac etc...

Well, I'm no dummie. I'd take the SNES style easy. It's not so much that I want Nintendo's IP to return to GB but indie games that are smaller that look like they could have been gameboy games.

It feels like if someone made a Game & Watch style game. I just dont see the reason.

Im so confused by this SNES vs GB argument. Was their really a difference?? Like its really just an artstyle choice.
Its not like they go out of their way to limit themselves to what the console was capable of.
Anyway game looks pretty cool, might pick it up on the cheap in the future.

Its not really a SNES vs GB argument. Its just me wondering if people really want more GB like games. To me that would be like people wanting more games inspired by 90s mobile games.

Worthless trailer with so many quick cuts and almost no gameplay.

And I tried to make a judgement about the game from its Kickstarter video but there weas this annoying commentator, plus the gameplay is very jerky. Fuck that commentator.

It looks so cool and oldfashioned in teh basic idea but I don't know why they made the presentation so annoying.

Yeah its pretty bad.

Doesnt help the game much since it comes out in a month and not easy to find it on youtube with the lack of presentation.

When I search for "Creepy Castle" - Toki Tori and Rayman videos pop up with some DK64 videos lmao

I know I'm a little too negative, but...

The game looks very good in itself though. Thanks for making the thread. I didn't know this game existed. It reall is the classic style I love. Gonna follow it until it is released.
