Nah, at least youre not complaining about games being too difficult these days.

I can see why this year looks pretty bad with some of the things that happened happened, like some of the examples listed, but I dunno about the worst. I've had games to enjoy throughout the year, and it has been better on some platforms over others, so I don't think this would be the worst year. There's probably been worse.

2016 is nowhere near that. Pokemon Sun/Moon is enough to make it far from the worst year

But still.  Those games are ending up in the hands of gamers.  In fact, a lot more gamers have access to those games now.  How can that be a bad thing for the gaming industry???

or  when you said "Worst year of gaming EVER"   you actually meant "Worst year of Console gaming EVER"?  (which in my opinion is not the case anyway)

I'm enjoying this years games. 

We've had worse. 1995 was a mediocre year. Although the SNES got Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, and Donkey Kong Country 2 that year, you could tell that both the SNES and Genesis were starting to be phased out. 1994 was a huge year for both systems and 1995 didn't even come close in comparison. The Sega Saturn had a disappointing US launch. The PlayStation didn't launch until September of that year, but the launch titles weren't really all that great or memorable. The N64 was delayed until 1996, which meant that Virtual Boy would try to fill in that void and we all know how that turned out. We got the Sega 32X for some reason.

yes definitely worst year of gaming for me

it is a year that i felt too many games i'm interested but not enough time to play

still have several games i bought haven't even start playing yet

and getting PSVR and PS4Pro will make me even not enough time

was thinking perhaps i should move them to next year purchase

i wouldnt say the worst year but definitely the most underwhelming

Every year has it's fare share of ups and downs and 2016 makes no exception of course. But is it the worst year for gaming... maybe to you but clearly people beg to differ.

There is always a game that will be over hyped and not deliver

Microtransactions are not new and imo they are getting better and better. A lot of these can be earned by playing the game and a lot of them are not giving you a real advantage in multiplayer games... if so I think you should vote with your wallet.

Nothing prevents you from enjoying a game that is on both X1 and PC except for your bias.

This year had a lot of blockbuster releases already and many more are coming.

Forza Horizon 3 is where it's at right now but yeah it's not exclusive so you might not be able to enjoy it.

As for Street Fighter V... well there are other fighters outhere...

We have new hardware that introduce new features such as HDR and 4K.

We get to experience VR on PC and soon on Playstation.

We get mods on console

We get crossplatform multiplayer games

Etc

2016 is amazing actualy
