Name a scary event that happened to you.

So yesterday, I was minding my own business sitting in my chair and watching youtube videos. I saw a tail walk by me thinking it was my dog. I was about to pet it then realize it wasn't my dog. From first glance, it looked like a huge rat. I jumped out of the chair and ran into the hallway. I eventually went back inside the room when I was calmer. Found out it was actually a possum. I was able to catch the possum in a net and throw it back outside. The possum must've came through my dog door. Note to self, close the dog door at night!

I was in the middle of a fight between Palestinian citizens and the IDF

Wasn't pretty to way the least. Let's just say I was scared that I'd be killed or shot

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

For some reason my brain stops my legs moving when I'm about to walk into something and it doesn't tell me until I've stopped look up from my phone and a lamp post is there in front of me.

Anyway, I was jaywalking across the street (hush, not illegal in the UK) and out of nowhere comes this speeding car from the other side that was hidden behind the vehicle next to it that I saw prior. Anyway I stop for seemingly no reason after the first car passes by, just to have a vehicle flying infront of me about an inch away from my body.

I don't mind my head saving my life it's just.. I'd rather know at least a second before hand, is that too much to ask?

As a kid I got run over by a moped on my right leg. It required stitches and I still have a pretty noticeable scar from it on my inner right calf. About 17 years ago a dog bit me on my left wrist the wound didn't require medical attention but it did leave a slight scar and I fainted and was unconscious for a while from the bite.

A few months ago, at about 4AM, I woke up to a loud bang, followed the crash of something breaking.

It was one of those situations where you are instantly wide awake. I froze, listening for any other sound, but heard nothing. After a minute or so, I slipped out of bed and grabbed my machete from the night stand. I crept around, checking the doors and windows, but didn't see anything out of place. I was about to peek outside when I saw something dark on the floor in the den, however, so I risked turning on the light.

A picture frame had fallen. On the way down, it had disturbed a ceramic figure, which had then fallen and broken on the hearth.

When I was younger I was attacked by some dobermans, that live around where I do. Their owner didnt treat them right, so they where fearfull and aggressive towards humans, and apparnetly would occasional try to attack smaller targets. To this day I do not like that breed of dog. The kid I was with, ran home and got help. All I took was a bite or two, but I was too damn scared to move. Parents came and chased them off. The dogs where eventually put down.

a rare childs disease, left me sitting in a wheel chair when I was younger, for upwards of 3-4months.
And recovery wasnt a certainty, I might have never walked again if I didnt follow the treatments, and medicin prescribed. That was a scary kinda "I hope some day I can walk again" type of scary.

Ive had one in a rubber boat sailed out to far, and had trouble getting back to shore, because of the currents.
By the time we came back (myself and a friend) we were exhausted. Back then I was quite scared we would end up far out at sea.

Ive tried chokeing on something, and not get any help from people around me (school mates), them thinking it was funny, while in my mind, I was sure I was going to die, if I couldnt caugh it up. Luckily I did, my throat was so damn sore afterwards, it was not at all funny.

WHat country do you live in where there are possums walking by casually? lol

United States. We had an area where wild life animals use to live, but now they are doing construction in that and building apartments. So these wild life critters have no where to go.To make matters worse, they are redoing all the streets in my area so these noises scares the animals.

When I was 10 my little sister wanted to have me sleep in her room for a "sleep over" (her way of saying shes scared of the dark) and so I was like, "Alright. In a little bit."

>30 mins pass and its now 12am

I go to her room and lay on the floor with some covers. I turned off her tv and was attempting to go to sleep when I heard something. I thought it was my sister so I asked her, "What'd you say?" with no reply. But the sound was definitely coming from her bed.

I try to ignore it but I can't. I hear the voice again. Still coming from her bed. I tried to understand what it was saying but it was "speaking" in a language or way I couldn't understand. It sounded like complete gibberish and was getting higher and higher and louder as well.

I propped myself up with my arms and called my sisters name with no reply. A second voice joined in. I was freaked out and decided to run out the door. So as I run out the door the back of my head starts tingling as if it was being poked by thousands of small needles. Then I fell backwards and couldn't move my legs. So I crawled, with my arms, out the door. I got away.

That was a weird experience I had. Never forgotten it
