As it should. Pratically everything in there should be options, by the channels owner. And then THEY pick who moderates, with those powers. Transpose YT Heroes idea onto a Twitch chat room. There's your basic way, to see the abuse it could cause.

Good. I seriously wonder when was the last time a Youtube idea wasn't met with backlash. They just don't give a fuck..

I'm glad to see this is getting all the hate that it deserves. This is such a horrible and easily abusable program and I don't even know how anyone thought this would be a good idea.

Youtube has been a forced dictatorship since they were bought by Google. They don't give a shit about what people think because no ones going to do anything about it. No one has a competing site that comes close to Youtube. It wouldnt be hard to make. Buuuut until that rival site is made, YT will become worse and worse as they know they can get away with anything

This is the type of thing that will be abused so easily. Won't be long before someone with an agenda and bias tries to sign up and starts mass flagging videos just because those videos are talking about something they personally don't like and they want to get rid of it just because they don't like it.

Edit: For clarification, the term Social Justice Warrior is absolute cringe and I stopped using it very shortly after this. It wasn't about being against whatever views or movements people wanted to push, at the time I just thought the way many people were pushing these things was the wrong way to go about it. Many were through violent actions, attacking each other, generalizing everyone with unfair accusations, and more but that absolutely went "both ways" if you want to call it that and it got to a point where I thought people would use the word "SJW" to talk about the more extreme people who were making things worse for even the people who were on their side through their extreme actions.

There definitely are other sites out there that are like Youtube, but those sites will only ever stand a chance if all big youtubers one day made a pact and decided to leave Youtube and move over there such as PewDiePie and such.

Especially with how many Social Justice Warriors there are on the internet.

This abuse would be the goal itself, not a consequence. Control is the real message.

Incentives could easily be made. Like better pay and such. Thats not too hard. However I feel like the problem is Google or another big company like Facebook would buy it and have it go to shit too

However, the only method of better pay, is getting advertisors on board, and the only way you get a lot of those advertisors on board is generally by that Content ID system.
