Forums - Gaming Discussion - Alright, which of you actually keep your game cases?

Do you keep your cases?

Yes 220 97.78%

Most of the time 0 0%

No 5 2.22%

Sometimes 0 0%

Total:225

I say this because when I go to GameStop or, hell, even half my friends houses' they only keep the discs or cartridges. It's a pet peeve of mine. It may be just the "keeping everything" mentality of me being a collector. But does this not bother anyone else? Everyone thinks Im crazy for not liking games without their cases; I mean, I AM crazy, but I can't be the only one bothered by it x.x XD

When it comes to game cases since Playstation, yes, but before that with Gameboy, N64, and SNES, no.

Err... people don't?

Hmm, pie.

Where else would you put the disc?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Cartridges don't need cases, I think. But all my game discs are in their respective cases.

Since I was a wee lad, I always kept my game cases. By default, I kept my home console cases, but for handhelds, I really treasured them. Unfortunately, my mom was cleaning out my room and due to her lack of understanding what I treasure, I had to throw some out. It was a very stressful moment picking what to keep and put in the garbage. I miss the days of looking at my VR Troopers, Pokemon, Golden Sun, Yugioh, Mega man battle network, etc. game cases.

I always do. My3DS cartridges stay in my case, but their cases are safely stored on one of my shelves, along with some old GCN disks. I don't understand how do many people dispose of/lose their game cases. These things have value!

Once it went disc based I started keeping cases as means to store games. Back in cartridge days I confess boxes get damaged so now my SNES collection is bunch of cartridges in a box.

Who the fuck doesn't keep their game cases?

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
