Forums - Politics Discussion - Oculus Rift creator secretly funded pro-Trump meme website

OK let me understand this- A wealthy business man is supporting a presidential candidate???? Wow we better create a "safe space" on VG Chartz to deal with the reality of this trauma!!!- I m just relieved and grateful there are completely objective business men like George Soros out there really setting a fine example of objectivity!

In all seriousness, why is this a story?- does the poster of this topic not understand business s, business people, private citizens etc support, lobby etc candidates and sitting pols in office at every level of the political system?
Many companies often support both candidates to play both sides -
If the police chief/dept in the city you live supports Trump (Trump has the support of the majority law enforcement so far), will you boycott that police dept if you are the victim of a crime, or not call 911 if someone is breaking into your house?

"Damaging posts"? The only damage being done is at Hillary's own hand.

Well, I guess Trump, too.

Man I hope Gary wins...

You want the guy who thinks nothing needs to be done about global warming because 5 billion years from now the Earth will be engulfed by the Sun when it becomes a red giant, so y'know it's gonna be really hot then, to be the next president? I think Mr Drumpf would be better than him.

LOL, Let me just break it to you, Gary Johnson isn't winning anything. It's Trump or Clinton. Pick your poison.

Here's hoping both get impeached before the election so Johnson can take it or Bernie is elected through a write in...

It was Britain, it is America, tomorrow France and next year, the world...

Warning: This poster has a very negative opinion of Sony and Nintendo, Idea Factory and companies Tecmo Koei, EA, BioWare, Blizzard, Treyarch, Infinity Ward, Kadokawa and Sega. If you have very positive views of these and a negative view of Microsoft or Bethesda Game Studios, AVOID ENGAGEMENT AT ALL COSTS!

Ok so he hasn't said that then?

What's the rhetoric that suggests he wants nuclear war with ANYONE then? Or is this all completely rectum derived?

He's stated he wouldnt take the option off the table (no politician would say they would - so thats fine) but would be prepared to use it if need be on parts of Europe...., I dont know about you, and I know some americans think Europe is a single country, but Europe is multiple. So ergo, the previous poster wasnt incorrect. Then later on stated he was being sarcastic. The guy is a fool, and no one who talks like that should ever be in office, because he's one of those people who cannot do deplomacy. I mean who "jokes/sarcastic" about using nukes... I mean seriously, one of the worst weapons ever used/created and he's joking/being sarcastic about using them... man sorry but you can try and create an argument, but there is no defense to what he has been saying.

I'm not disagreeing he's a terrible candidate. But that doesn't mean you should just lie about what he's said. Honestly, the people who hate him have made this election so much worse by just constantly lying about him it makes people stop paying attention to his actual flaws.

He clearly hasn't suggested he wants nuclear war. You've just interpreted that with the elasticity of someone working for Salon.com.

This is the same guy people believe to have "stolen" idea/research from another firm where he worked, before he did the Occulus rift thing?

And now hes funding White supremacist groups? what a nice guy.

Im not planning on getting a Occulus rift, and stuff like this makes me not want to support them either.

which white supremacist group did he support?  Or is it a situation that he does not support the Black Lives Matter ideology therefore he is a racist type thing?

Marketing and advertising doesn't have to be so damn low.  Let the politicitians do what they do.  I don't want to see other products advertised like election canidates.

What a crime to use your own money to support someone you agree instead of being the person being paid to say such support.
